Fair enough - I think this is an end to this matter - It bores me now and probably you also, the scars from WW2 are things we do not need to rake over further - you feel them as do I.

No.Despite what some people think, the mods on this forum aren't power hungry psycho paths, who ban anyone/everyone they hate for no reason other then hating them. We don't laugh maniacally in our mod lounge when we ban people (unless it's really, really funny for whatever reason). Most of us don't LIKE banning people.
We ban people who continuously or majorly break the rules. Some people seem to strugle with this concept for whatever reason, I'm not sure why. But we don't ban people over trivial things. To get banned you have to **** up big time, especially if you are banned permanently.
We don't ban someone for simply posting a pointless topic. You are simply wrong in that regaurd. The worst we do it simply close the topic. Now if someone continuously makes stupid, pointless or inapropriate threads, then we will ban them for continuously breaking the rules after being warned. Which is exactly what we're supposed to do.
