you're right, we haven't lost a game so far... only won one 🙄 ...
If you see how we played against Japan (with that penalty!) and the great tactical knowledge we used for Tunesia...
In Belgium there's a BIG discussion going on between Flanders and Wallonia, they claim Waseige makes his playerchoices to keep the Dutch-French speaking people in balance.
Take Van Buyten... dude is AUWFULL, slow, can't keep a guy with him, can't deliver a proper pass and he STILL plays! Same for Van Meir! Even my grandmother is faster then him!
And all these moaning complaints seem pitifully feeble about a side which has progressed to the last 16, something which would bring accolades to any coach in a country with people with any bloody gratitude, in a time when France, Argentina and Portugal could not even do it.
That poor side has worked its socks off to get where they are and criticism is all they get back. If you ask me the players and coach deserve more but the 'supporters' do not.
But as it is, you didn't, but you still qualified, which is far more than your team was expected to be able to do against that opposotion.
It might be easy for you to blame defeats on technically weaker opponents on bad tactics but the fact is that even the best tactics do not always work; there was nothing wrong with the tactical set-ups of nearly every major team eliminated so far.
As I suspect Waseige is rather better qualified for the job than YOU are, and as he has steered his team through as underdogs to get through to round two, I am willing to say that his tactics appear fine to me.
