I have an idea of a "superhero" team with heroes who don't have secret identities or costumes or names that aren't what they were born with.
They also don't have any powers that can't happen in real life, or at least be explained somewhat by real life science.
I've always hated costumed heroes and nick named heroes. So, if anyone wants to help make this team, feel free to add.
Anyways, this is all I got right now.
Name: John O'Green.
Age: 32
Height: 6'5
Powers: None
Physical Description: Big, muscular guy. Due to his callouses, his skin appears to have an almost yellow taint.
His part in the team: He's the muscle, the go to guy when backs need to be broken.
History/Skills: John, born into a family of weightlifters who's life goal was to be the parents of the worlds strongest boy, has been pumped with heavy doses of testosterone and steroids his entire life.
At age 10 he was the strongest human for his size on Earth. Now, at age 32, John has continued with his steroid use and is now the strongest human on earth, period. Able to lift nearly one ton.
As a side effect of the drugs at such an early age, and through rigorous training, John has been able to develop callouses over his entire body, making his skin twice as tough as a normal human.
John is an extremely good fighter, he prefers mixed martial arts above anything. He's never lost a fight due to his strength and durability advantage.
A disadvantage of his steroid usage, John is prone to rage. Sometimes going against his teammates as well as his enemies.

Physical Description: Scars, lots and lots of scars. Not a single spot of his body is void of what he calls "Past love".
His part in the team: He's the guy you need if you really want to **** with your enemies mind.
History/skills: Mal always was a weird child. Growing up under the roof of two masochists will do that to you. At a young age he was taught that pain is good, pain means love.
He always relished pain. He dwells in the feeling of being hurt. Because of this, Mal is nearly impervious to any pain, even seemingly lethal damage does no more than make him smile.
Mal is an expert in the use of bladed weapons and chains. After years of experimenting on himself, he knows every pressure point on a human body. If it can cause massive pain, he knows how to do it.

Physical Description: Short guy. Very muscular.
His part in the team: He's the guy you need to set up tactical plans or hack into a system.
Powers: None
History/Skills: Born to two geniuses, Maxwell was born to be smart. At age 9, Max already had a doctorate in two different fields of weapons engineering. Max can figure out and make anything if he tries, his intelligence and tactical know-how is unmatched. Although he's very small and less than the perfect physical specimen, he more than makes up for it in sheer intelligence and the ability to make weapons to suit his needs.
His most potent fighting ability is finding the weaknesses and exploiting the flaws in anyone or anything.
Name: Kirk Derogard

Physical Description: Covers every open skin with his fabrics. Military Secret technology expert.
Team Part: Guy who is gifted in metallurgy, technology, computer security systems and constructing armaments and state of the art techno-toys.
History/Skills: Graduated from university with degrees in applied physics, and technologies. Worked for agencies NRA, CIA, FBI.. until he was into some even more government classified areas. His knowlegde on technlogy applied to his suits, he created a whole new era of criminal warfare with his technologies. Disgusted with this, his pursuit has been of vengeance agianst the secret government agencies that stole his work. Kirk created a lightweight fabric called ' vertex' which is about as the same consistency as thick silk - but can stop bullets from piercing his skin. Kirk can diffuse any kind of bomb or technological trap in mere minutes or seconds. He can break in any computerized systems facility. Can re-wire robots quickly.

Name: Whitey Jones
age: 27
Whitey was an unwilling participant in a painful experiment that subjected him to a boiling water solution which eventually game him the same powers as Luke Cage. The experience was very traumatic for Whitey and still gives him nightmares. Unlike Luke, Whitey was raised in an upperclass white suburb and was taught that using his fists was never the way to handle a situation.
Powers: Whitey has the same durability, strength, and endurance as Luke Cage except he is about 5-10% weaker due to being a smaller, less athletic guy.
W is 5'10, and weighed 160 lbs before his transformation. His weight has increased an unknown amount since.
Weaknesses: W is still afraid of getting into fights despite his powers, and complicating this is the past trauma of the pain experienced when he gained his powers.
Name: Ninjitsu McFu
Orgin: Ninjitsu grew up on a remote pacific island that was unknown until recently with Google Earth imagery. The natives are cousins of Samoans but they are even fatter and uglier. All the islanders are trained in a form of ninjitsu from an early age. Ninjitsu's real name is classified by his tribe. Growing up, his mother "wore the pants" in the family and his old man was fairly timid. He got good genes for being a ninja from his mama, who was his main instructor. As a result, he remains to this day a bit of a "mama's boy."
Today he spends his time in the U.S. as a vigilante crimefighter.

Powers: Ninjitsu's lifelong training and great genetics give him peak human strength, endurance, and reaction times--on par with Batman, Kingpin, and Captain America. He does carry about 30 lbs of fat compared to Batman and Cap, but he can use it to his advantage in fights. His mama used to feed him a lot.
When he's not busting up the bad guys, he is tearing up the local Chinese buffets.
Trademark attack: When he attacks he yells "Ninjitsu mama!!" in honor of his tribe and mother.
Super team's name: The Crack Pack
The team consists of a married couple and their dog.
"K1" is the husband who's main power is super-speed and endurance. He can run approximately 120 MPH for 15 minutes, or 90 MPH for 2 hours before he must slow down slightly. His reflexes are approximately 6 times as fast as a normal human, and he is twice as strong and 6 times as durable as a normal human so that impacts at the higher speed hurt him about the same as a normal human running into something. K1 can also run holding the other two members in each arm like they are weightless--presubably the source of their powers lets them do this together. They will gain extra durability equal to his when doing this so that they are not easily injured if dropped or hit. Basically he moves like he is on crack.
"K2" is the wife who acts like she is on crack. Her intelligence becomes lessened somewhat but she gets mad and can scream with a powerful sonic voice which can knock down an average person at 25 feet and can tip over a small car from 5 feet, and will shatter glass at 25 feet also. It is more of a concussive blast as opposed to deafening blast, although it is about 2X as loud as an average person can scream.
Their dog is third part of the trio: His name is "B" and he is a friendy but wild-acting labrador-mix dog whose power comes from his butt crack: he lets farts that can knock out any normal humans within a 15 foot radius. He can sometimes use the wind to his advantage if an enemy is downwind. If the enemy is upwind then his power range decreases appropriately.
If B poops then there is a 2 hour window in which anyone coming near the poop will pass out and fall to the ground until the poop slowly dissapates over the next 8 hours or so.
The trio's powers started after a hiking trip in the mountains when they experienced a 3 hour window of "missing time" one day. They theorize that they were abducted by aliens and subjected to weird experiements but they have no proof of this. They are somehow immune to each other's special powers.
Together the trio manages to take down more powerful single enemies despite regular arguing between K1 and K2 and B's chaotic and wild nature and never listening to his masters. But when danger comes, the misfit trio seems to have luck on their side and things work well together for them.
Hmmm, let's see who my next hero for hire is....oh yes...
Name: Infinity Guy
Orgin: Infinity Guy was born at the exact second that a "once in a multiveral crossover event" happened. Most of the known comic universes crossed over at an unknown time (there is no way to tell when it happened--past, present, future or in a way that we can not comprehend) and his spirit was created as an amalgram of several comic characters. It is unknown exactly which characters merged together to form his essense, but somehow he was released back into "our universe" (the one which we are speaking about and live in). For all reasonable purposes, he is infinite. He chooses not to display his powers much, and since he came from trillions of universes, not only do we not know what types of characters he came from, but even the abstract characters in our universe can not detect his presense. It is assumed that the characters that became him are no longer present as individuals since they are absorbed together into what is known as Infinity Guy.
Powers: Basically IG can do anything he wants, whenever he wants. Because of him being virtually omnipotent, it is assumed that he is made up partly of several abstract-level entities, maybe an infinite number of them even. He has shown no limits and usually only involves himself in planet-destroying events at the least. It is theorized that he has helped guide the expansion of the big bang and witnessed the development of Galactus and the Watchers and every freakin' body else.
He may be more powerful than the living tribunal, we don't know. His only "limitation" is that he is confined to our universe unless it is destroyed, then it is postulated that he may be able to escape into any universe he wishes. But this unknown factor keeps him protecting our universe because even he doesn't know if he would die or not should this happen.
Size: He is roughly 1.5 times as large as Galactus. It is assumed that he can alter his body size at will but nobody has ever watched him do this.
Comic appearance: It is speculated that in the comic where Black Bolt screams and a passing entity blinks at him, that the passing entity is Infinity Guy.
Name: Joey Nimcanshin
was born a mutant with, what is to date, one of the most rare genetic mutations that the universe can create on the human genome. While mutants can get mutations that alter their body or powerset to copy or control virtually anything that exists in nature, Joey received a most superior combination of powers mimicking some of the universe's most powerful materialsl and energy forms.
Powers: Joey's powers surfaced as the xavier school. He was placed in the school before any powers surfaced because multiple relatives of his had powers and genetic testing showed that he would someday have powers that surfaced. At age 14, he began to display the ability to transform his body into metal. It was assumed that he was similar to colossus, but the danger room strength testing equipment was not enough to max his limits out. Joey then displayed an ability to fly by actually discharginng some of his mass away from his body, kind of like a jet engine. He does this somehow without losing mass on his body.
When a biopsy of his skin was needed to study the metal in his body, he had to manually scrape a small section of outer skin off, because no instrument at the X-mansion could do it. It was discovered that he is comprised of PRIMARY adamantium 99% with only 1% of a mixed alloy that serves as nerve transmission cables. He is for all reasonable purposes, indestructible. His strength can not be measured on an earthly scale. His ability to fly and lift a large starship into space in 22 seconds has been measured. He can lift more but can not fly with more. His speed and reflexed are 20 times faster than human. He does not fatigue, at least not when fighting any earth-bound enemies. He makes danger room training boring, as he could destroy the whole complex in a matter of seconds. A full assault by his teammates brings him no harm at all.
He does not need to breathe or eat or drink and can transform back to human form at will.
Enemies: Since Joey's powers surfaced, he has fought Juggernaut to a standstill twice and can resist Magneto's forces in his body movements easily, but can not get close to Magneto because Magneto will suspend him in the air and can overcome Joey's flight ability (even though this is not easy for Magneto). He has never been visibly hurt by any attack. He would really like to lay a smack-down on Juggernaut for being a bully, but the magical enchantment is beyond even Joey's abilities. However, Juggernaut is equally frustrated by his in-ability to hurt Joey and how Joey is able to knock him several miles away with a single blow.
Weaknesses: Joey is still susceptible to reality-warping and fears greatly that he will be overcome by an enemy who can alter time or space and banish him to a place where can not return via his great strength alone.

I've always wanted to make a character with quantum - based powers that reflect actual phenomena in quantum physics:For example, he could be in more than one place or time at once, phase through solid matter, teleport, cause matter to appear or disappear at will, etc.
A few years back, I postulated in a thread that essentially all/most superpowers can be boiled down to psiconscious operations.
(I always thought it was an interesting coincidence that "psi" is the term used by physicists to denote wavefunctions AND it is the catch-all term parapsychologists use as a more neutral label for what they study--"more neutral" in that it doesn't have the New Age hocus-pocus connotations like "psychic" does...basically, it's where "psionic" comes from).

The D's real name was Mack Ranker and he was a garbage man...make that "sanitation engineer." Mack was throwing garbage bags into the back of a garbage truck one day when he noticed as he was throwing a bag that it was glowing as it went in. He was curious what it could be, and he thought perhaps something was on fire and he didn't want to start a huge inferno, so he jumped in after it. His partner driving the truck didn't see him, and hit the button that makes the garbage truck smash all the garbage inside to compact it. Mack was crushed into the glowing bag and doesn't remember anything until he awoke several minutes later to his garbage partner doing CPR on him. After his shift was finished, he went home to take a long shower to clean himself up. As he was washing his hair with his eyes closed, a voice came to him saying.."I am the embodiement of all garbage and things that are disposed of and not appreciated and I come from a different realm. The glowing garbage bag seeks a worthy avatar to contain it's powers and mission. It has chosen you to protect all those who are thrown away and dismissed as worthless by others. You will be their hero and hope.
Powers: The Disposinator, like 65% of all the other characters made in this thread , stands 6'7 and has class 60 strength and is extrememly durable--he can take a direct hit from a garbage truck going 55 MPH without it hurting him or spilling any garbage. If he is able to immerse himself in garbage before a fight, his powers grow even greater in proportion to how dirty/stinky he gets. The diety of the glowing garbage bag can give him almost unlimited powers from another realm.
His reaction speed is average for a human and his intelligence is average.
He travels around in a decked-out garbage truck through rough neighborhoods and old govt. housing projects rescuing crack addicts and victims of muggings and other merciless violence and drug related crimes. He also has a reputation for spending a smaller amount of time in high-income gated communities and plastering garbage all over stuck-up people who oppress lesser fortunate beings. He uses the garbage collected in his truck to amplify his powers as needed.
Enemies: he has a strong sense of self-justice that has made enemies not only of the crime-lords, but also of city hall reps who despise the stink left in his wake and his lack of respect for proper police protocall.

Powers: Is able to create an object out of thin air, using amazing pyschic abilities here could create a 50 foot wall in front of his enemy just like a mime artists. However if his pyschic concentration is broken, for instance if he is knocked out cold, objects he has created will disappear. Mime has a metal band created by Charles Xavier that protects his mental thoughts so nobody can access his mind and force him to create objects against his will. Also it stops people breaking his mental concentration, making ihs objects dissappear.So that is my creation any suggestions regarding the parents are vey welcome and would be very helpful.

Orgin: when Terry Timmerman was a teenager, he was a brilliant kid who's science and mathematic ability began to surpass even the greatest savants and autistics and geniuses of earth and beyond. He devised the first faster-than-light traveling ship at age 23, only three years after he worked out the theoretic formulas that showed it was possible. This was in the year 4687 earth years as we know it. He was given one of those black American express cards that has no spending limit by the govt, and free cable TV and gasoline for life by private companies as well.
As Terry's ships traveled into new areas of the universe, they began to discover super-powered beings. At the time, there were none known on earth. Terry began to get ideas is dreams that perhaps comic books on earth were being written partly by authors who had subconscious communication with a higher source, gradually desensitizing humans to the idea of coexisting with superheroes. Soon formulas were arriving in his head for new technologies on how to alter reality.
Eventually Terry was able to prove that the universe as they know it, was actually a two dimensional flat rectangular shape that resembled a comic-book page. In the year 4699 Terry figured out how to actually "leap" off the page and observe everything from above. He found that he could then alter the reality of what was written on the page, much like using ink and erasers. He had become as powerful as the author of the comic book itself. This had in fact made him equal to the highest controller of his own universe, above any others at all possible. To this day only he knows that he is TOOA. 😮💨

He is a master telepath that also has extreme telekinetic abilities. The most imposing and dominating aspect about Razzelix is his ability to manipulate gravity. Along his training in telekinesis he acquired the ability to control gravity.

Real name: Shawn Grower
Shawn Grower was the last survivor of a long extinct planet thought to be the largest planet ever known, with the largest plant and animal species ever known as well. How he got to earth is unknown.
Shawn stands 8 feet 6 inches tall and weights approximately 550 lbs and has a proportionate build of a muscular olympic athlete. His strength level is class 35 with proportionate durability.
Special Powers: Aside from his superhuman size strength and durability, Shawn's "real strength" is his ability to grow when attacked. Any form of force or energy either one is translated into growth and strength increases for Shawn. Physical impact, heat, electricity, magnetic attacks, radiation, etc. will ALL result in increased mass and strength (and proportionate height increase) for Shawn. There is no known upper limit to his ability.
Here's the kicker though: Matt can dissipate his extra size as quickly as he wants into "zero point energy" that seems to go nowhere. So he can in effect act as a sponge to attackers, getting rid of the energy as fast as he soaks it up. Or he can save it up and get bigger, or do a combination of both. If he wants to get stronger for an attack, he must store enough energy and gain the extra needed height/size with it though.
The transformation occurs spontaneously through his body, and it is impossible to overload his body and kill it. It simply channels energy into growth and not destruction. Even skyfather attacks have no effect. And matter manipulators do not seem to affect the matter in his body either.
Oh, and yes he can control if he hits someone, to make sure that the kinetic energy of his punch will hurt them and not simply be fully absorbed back into himself (via the rule that every reaction has an opposite equal reaction, eh).
In theory he could become as big as a galaxy or universe and still kick butt. As he grows to immense size, his body compensates and becomes energetic and strong enough for him to support his own weight and stay as proportionately strong as his 8'6" starting height, so obviously as he gets very very big his growth rate slows down per unit of energy absorbed because more goes to "strength" than "size."
It is not believed that all the natives from his planet had this ability originally, although there was something in their genetic code that gave Shawn this ability on our world. It is believed that some trace mineral in the soil on Earth activated his powers (or maybe it was exposure to a yellow sun!--j/k)
