thats one scary thing.... what is also scary is waking up because you feel like falling out of bed...

The first non-predictable answer. Anyone can give a list of phobias.

This guy's got imagination.

Gold star.

personally, the thought of getting stuck in a submarine scares the hell outa me, imagine being at the bottom of the ocean, only way out through a tiny hole that'd fill with water the instant you opened it, knowing theres f*ck all chance of them rescuing you, waiting for your oxygen to run out

That reminds me of an Astronauts nightmare while performing maintenance on the outside of a Space Station. Just imagine getting your cord ripped and floating away from the space-station into open space.

^ that I find truly frightening

another thing that I find terrifying is when I start to feel like my entire life is pointless and that my existence serves no purpose. I mean, Im always aware of this thought, but at times it overwhelms my mind and it is more than a little scary.

I had a truly scary dream once...atleast to me...

I was in my old house, in my room...I looked out my bedroom door and I saw two white colored wolves standing up straight, looking at me in the darkness. Then the dream ended. Its hard to explain how frightening it was, I was a bit shaken that morning.

Scary? Walking along a dark, empty street when you pass a guy at a bus stop and he starts to follow you.

The worst one I can think of is one that I remember discussing with Victor and someone else a couple of years back.

One night you look out of your window and you look across into a block of houses or whatever, opposite. In one window you see a killer committing a murder. He sees you, you see him. You close the curtain and sit down.

The sheer terror of not knowing whether he'd come for you or not is horrifying.

No shit ; that happened to me in London when i went in an overgrown park at night to smoke a spliff and there was actually a guy with a baton. And the usual rustling noises in the bushes made by rats. But that was years ago so i cant remeber if I was scared or too high to realise that.

That's happened to me before. It scared the hell out of me.

Daniel radcliff

and being alone in the middle of the woods with noises that you don't know what it is

Well that's done it for me also....LOL....but that is only sensory stuff.....How about......the thoughts one might have for hurting someone......haunting...forever, I'd say.....

When you read about things like parents accidentally killing their kids by reversing cars over them etc. It doesn't get much more scary than that.

Clowns, dolls, manequins etc. Anything inanimate that is percieved in the form of living (having a soul). or in the case of clowns and mimes, anything living that is percieved as inanimate and soul less.

the last minute of your life...

Fear, as in phobic or irrational fear?
I don't have any.

Of course there are real world fears, but nothing insensible. I'm fascinated by snakes and spiders....ticks are a bit bleh, though.

Being set-up by someone so you go to prison for life, with no evidence to proof your innocent.

Personification, and reification.

TGhere are way to many circumstances I might feel as being scary ....most of the stories told in this thread would be.
