My fear is(was) paradoxical: the first time you realise that life is gift, but to make it a good one, you have to put some effort into it is pretty scary. Then, after accepting this fact, you begin to realise that the nature of the effort means that you control your destiny, therefore it is ultimately liberating and inspiring.
Things I find scary:
Random acts of violence by thugs who have nothing to live for (and are a waste of humanity) making victims of people who just want to go about their lives.
That Bush gets away with murder.
The thought that right now, as I type this, there are probably 100's of people out there doing crazy shit to other people al a Geoffrey Dahmer (and other like minded psychos)
I was chased by a grizzly back in 1995. Every once in a while I dream about it while I'm sleeping and wake up pretty freaked out. That was scary.
There's probably more, it's a scary world, but you can't let that fear control you.

that there are far more many people in positions of power that are infinitely more tyrannical and evil than george bush and are allowed to continue with impunity there acts of genocide because it seems everyone concentrates all their anger towards bush
staring down the barrel of a shotgun is scary...i know...ive been there
not knowing what the hell is going on.
this results in being scared pretty much all the time.
Not reacting to fear is a good thing 😉 Learnt this whilst rockclimbing and realised if I reacted with fear I was gonna die.
Life is beautiful and fear is a part of it. It's all good. *steps down off soap box* oops.
