I'm not sure what you mean. In my RP it would be more accurate to say they are Ronin, Samurai without a Shogun. but you will still have to follow Bushido. Of course you can serve one of the two clans that are at war, but it isn't a necessity. You can also choose to play as a ninja or mercenary or anything that I might have forgotten about. You can play as anything from feudal Japan, and I don't mind how you act. I'll post the races and magic forms that you can use later. Sorry this is taking so long. If you're serious about joining, that makes five. I'll get everything set up as soon as I get the go ahead.

Oh, ok. I've never played Rush, advance 1-3, or battle. But isn't battle the same thing as SA2?

No. Sonic Battle is after Shadow the Hedgehog. (Created before but is actually a sequel to it) and you don't need to know much about the games considering a lot will differ.

Stereotypical samurai as in a person who has a sword and stuff. The real meaning is different.

Yes you can have a sword. I encourage swords because they always make the most incredible battles. You can use other weapons if you want but, if you choose to be a samurai or ronin, your sword will probably be your best friend.
