Anyone want a Western? Hmm... maybe on could work much better in unhosted... ooh ooh, IDEA TIME!THE FORTH AGE
This takes place after the Lord of the Rings. Leaderless, masses of orcs ravage inocnets, killing hundreds... but now someone is organising them again and Aragorn, now known a the Elessar, must assemble a new Fellowship and stop this mysterious new Dark Lord, who has adopted Sauron's false ideantity of "The Necromancer" and has begun summoning myseterious undead to reap havoc across Middle Earth. You can be any surviving LOTR character who would plausibly be available (obviously, someone like Gaffer won't go opn adventures and the elves and frodo left Middle Earth).
I do want to follow a set plot but you'll have enough lea-way to be able to split a bit anyway...
The main characters I'd want to use are:
Gimli
Faramir
eowyn
Arwen
Aragorn
Sam
Merry
pippin
Radaghast the Brown
Eomer
I there's anyone else you want to be, just ask and it could probably be OK... also, PM me if you aren't sure who the characters are- I bagsy Aragorn I'm afraid...
THE RULES:
No flaming except in- character
Only mild wearing (no Fs)
no godmodding (none of these characters are amazing, even the wizrd of the tem, Radagast)
No immortality (if you charge into a band of 2000 orcs woith only a ham sandwich and a roll of toilet paper, you will die)
No killing team-mates
have funSo, is anyone interested?

set in the world of Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman's Dragonlance world called Krynn, in the Tower of High Scorcery in Palanthas, and opening the school.
1. no original charecters ( may make refference to them as a long lost reletive)
2. any one who comes can apply as a student, or a teacher (teachers must know the art of the Magi, or at least know what they are talking about, and at least 5 others need to agree to let them teach. Me coming up with this would be a teacher if this is aceppeted)
3. you can be order of the Magi ( Black Robe, White Robe, Red Robe. I will not except renegade Grey Robes, due to the fact that it would suck out all the fun!)
4. you can make up your own charecters, or just be yourself
5. Clerics of Krynn's gods (Paladine, Takhisis, Gleian ect. I apologize for any spelling errors) are welcome visitors.
6. If you are playing more then one charecter you may post like this
(Delilah) she picks up the fallen pencil
(Angela) takes the pencil Delilah handed her and says, " Thank you,"
7. you cannot play more then 3 people ( we dont want a story runned by one person)
8. when you first request to study in the Tower, and you are allowed to join (which you probably will, the more the merrier) you will have to post your dangerous joureny through the Shohikan Grove that surrounds the Tower.
9. taunting hurtfully will not be tolerated.
if you have read Dragonlance, then you would know, but since you are asking, I guess you have not.
Dragonlance is a series of over 100 books written by various authors set in the same world. The Tower of High Scorcery is, of corse, a tower where a wizard or wizardess (in my role playing case, wizardess) lives with his or her apprentices. The magic they study is like all magic...it is complex...and rocks alot harder then a sword! Palanthas is one of the cheif cities of the world, Krynn. The Black, White, and Red Robes are a different type of wizard or wizardess magic. The wizards who wear black robes study dark magic. The White Robes study magic of good. The Red Robes study neutrul magic, or magic that is not good and not evil, in between the two. The tower was long ago cursed by a dark wizard who flung himself off the tallest part, impaling himself upon the spiked gates, casting a shadow, of which the sun or the moons can penetrate. But since a few years ago, the curse upon it has been lifted enough for the Master of Past and Present, Raistlin Majere. But this is not his story. The Shohikan Grove is a grove of trees in which grows aroud the Tower to protect it. No breeze sturrs the tree's leaves, for the undead dwell there, seeking out blood and flesh of an uninvited intruder to warm their eturnal coldness. Only those with charm, a night stone or a spell, can pass through. The gods of Krynn, Paladine, god of light, Takhisis, Queen of Darkness, and Gleian, nutural god, and their children the minor gods, have followers and worshipers, but only those who have dedicated themselves to their gods are called clerics.
I hope this had made it a bit more clearer for you, I know it is not the easiest to understand.
