what it really means, in political terms, is that millions of people who support the idea that homosexuality is a sin, illegal, a mental disorder, deprived behavior, on-par with child molesting, etc are basically placing a boundry between themselves and members of their own family. 1st of all - we are talking about High School sexual education. Teenagers, not kids.
2nd of All - Face facts: homosexuality isn't going anywhere. Bisexuality isn't going anywhere. Kids aren't forced to learn about anything provided there is good cause. What you are advocating is forcing schools to drop aspect of tolerance, education and indiscrimination. Who are you to say it should not be taught in schools? If anything your opinions prove you know virtually nothing on the subject other then the fact you don't like it.
You could have benefited from that aspect of education. What were you taught? The old puritan "sex is bad and dirty and it should only ever be a reproductive duty?"

Why should children be forced to go to school then? That should be a choice and nobody should have to go to school if they don't want to, and parents shouldn't be allowed to force children to learn either.
This is basic education people need to learn shit like that if they want to be able to actually have a life later on. Unless you want to make all of education a choice this should be forced down children's throat just like Math and history.

I expect teens to accept different religions, different races, different political stances, gender views etc so I damn well think there is no problem with them accepting homosexuality exists, is unchangeable and not detrimental to society.
