Gays is most often used to refer to just male homosexuals, but it can be used to refer to females as well. However, I do believe that there is significant evidence to suggest that homosexuality is more common in males than females.

Men are often less accepting people. More women vote against gay marriage bans than men. Women are ahead of men on most social issues.

My apologies, I thought you referenced "truth" as gay sex and homosexual sex are different.

The logic of this dilemma comes from the fact that then men aren't revolted by the sex act, but merely find two guys in bed to be unacceptable. They will then use any means they can to attempt to justify thier position.
