This is not a gay bashing thread so please do not do that. I am merely posing a question that has not been answered to my satisfaction. Here's my thought process:

Christians, as a majority, seem to believe that all gay people will go to Hell regardless of their merits/good deeds and so on. While being gay is a sin, I don't know of anything mentioning that being gay is any worse than other sins. I mean all sinners who do not repent go to Hell correct? What is the difference?

I have my ideas on how this could work but I want to see what others say 1st

These types of questions are endemic to the religion forum. A lot of them are just bait for the Theists 😬

I can't really give you a good opinion on this since I and the Christsians that I go to church with have nothing against homosexuality.
