Ugh.

My head hurts when people say "Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!" It's a stupid non-argument that I would have dismantled even when I believed that being in a homosexual relationship was wrong.

*This is apart of the OT law for Jewish priests. Jesus fulfilled and removed the law.

*This is probably the strongest verse against homosexuality, however, many scholars believe it is actually a reference to men sleeping with boys, which was a Roman thing apparently. Note that there is no indication that homosexuals cannot reach heaven here.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

*The term effeminate is generally thought to refer to homosexuals. And does call them homosexuals in some translations. This is because the Greek word used for sodomy means homosexuals. However, it is to be noted what the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah actually were...

Ezekiel 16:49-50

*Homosexuality can only be included in the other abominations and was not the prime sin of Sodom.

Some people say yes, some people say no. Depends on your stance on translational inerrancy and whatnot.

Fred Phelps is pretty damn simple in all senses of the word.

I quite frankly couldn't care less what Christianity, Islam, the Pope, or Ted Haggard have to say about Homosexuality/Bisexuality.

That is the difference between myself now and myself a year ago.
