As in many quantum physic studies. We are all connected to energies. The invisible really isn't invisible, they are filled with sub atomic photons that are attracted to negatives and possitives..........as with many studies, these energies will attracted themselves to what is it's simular........negative or positive........It's hard to explain....but here is a site that I have posted before that shows how emotions, which are invisible can affect the visible....

http://www.life-enthusiast.com/twilight/research_emoto.htm

This would also explain many unexplained phenominas with healings and such....It's not the religions. It's the power of intentions/belief.....

or you could google something like "law of attraction quantum physics"

What I mean is what makes them "negative"? Who decides what is negative and what is not?

Depends on the religion but in the Christian, Jewish Islamic ones yes.

According to the Old testament you're supposed to stone homosexuals.
I'm not sure what the Koran suggests but it's probally not good.
