Skeletons out of your closet? Unless you don't watch any movie at all or any TV show, my argument still stands. In fact if you believe the bible to be god's true word then you are a hypocrite as well. But yeah of course, you never read anything, hear anything, watch anything other than the bible.
I do watch some movies. I dont watch tv at all.
Explain to me how believing the Bible makes me a hypocrite.
I read Christian books, hear anything? What do you mean?
Punker, i respect your decision to not watch television because you probably beleive it is a waste of time, a distraction, and/or full of negative influence.
But there is ALSO positivity that comes out of television, and if you are going to make opinions about an issue you are unfamiliar with (like gay issues for repeated example lol) then its always smarter to KNOW as much information as you can on the matter.
There is nothing wrong with looking to the Bible for answers, but the Bible is ONLY one point of view...a religious one.
For any topic that is extended beyond religion, in order to make the most successful points you can, you have to be able to address certain points knowing ALL the information possible on that sort of subject.

I used to watch television alot. About 5 to 6 hours a day at times so i think im "educated" enough on the subject to voice an opinion. Plus I used to also be really into movies and movies stars and such. And i've seen alot of movies. Just look up my old "Movie Picks" thread in the Movie Discussion forum and you'll see what I mean besides the amatuer reviews.
There are more unpositive things than unpositive on television.
I dont understand how you can still think I only argue things from a Biblical perspective. This whole discussion between me and Eis hasn't been biblical. Just moral.
And I disagree. I dont need to do a full out study on certain things to know that I dont approve of them. Just like I dont need to kill someone to know its wrong. And how I dont need to smoke to know it causes cancer.
