And as you come from Africa I am sure you realise that the aids epidemic there (as well as the one in Russia and certain parts of Asia) is mostly attributed to the heterosexual community?
And typically a person has more chance of survival now then ever before with most maladies, many of the big nasties from the past have been rendered dormant in many parts of the world, there is actual psychological care for people with actual mental illness (as opposed to the stigmata and incarceration they bore in the past), and to my knowledge genetic problems have far from rocketed. The population is bigger, thus there are more suffers, but that is not the same as genetic illness suddenly just exploding all over the place.

Uh huh. So you are comparing sexual orientation (which the psychological community believes is fairly well ingrained in a person) to social subcultures that a person usually has a choice to be a part of. By your logic, then, heterosexuals would also be like goths, emos, nerds, jocks etc.
And heterosexual people should be allowed to "advertise" their culture?
And how are gay people "confusing" those around them? Do gay people have an aura of confusion +4 or something? I have spent time around gay people, and never once have I thought "Holy confusion batman, my proximity to gay people happy with the way they are is confusing me... suddenly I want to turn gay myself!"
