Last-Gen Console Discussions (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii)

N64 was multiplayer heaven. Til this day, we sometimes bust out the N64 to play some Smash Bros, No Mercy, Bomberman, Goldeneye, and Mario Kart. Extremely fun times.

Poor 360. Micrsoft said blah blah sell 3 million in 90 days and they failed. I wonder if Ps3 and rev will fall on there ass. 360 bugs are off the roof.

Are you saying the XBOX 360 failed?

Yeah, the glitches are kinda of dumb. Another reason why I like Nintendo products. They rarely have glitches when the get released.

No not fail but not a good start and so full of themselves. Sony too. Rev is going to be the best one.

Nintendo states that their console will be 10 times less powerful in graphics but there ultimate unique gameplay with the control will win. Some guy says he rather play with the control thing and swing it with busted ass graphics that to play that crappy halo 3 with the nbice graphics an gameplay. Nintendo pats themselves on the back and they are releasing more and more things about the rev. The Rev will have Mario just incase you didn't know.

XBOX did stumble through the gate, but the system is still a pretty awesome system.

It's online play is the only reason I would get it, and maybe that they will have awesome shooters on it.

I cant say I'm going to get the Revolution because I still havent seen it in action and it's something I have to try before I pick up.
I dont have alot of money, so I cant just buy an next gen system without trying it, especially considering the Revolution is so different than all the other systems since 1985.

It's been sighted that the graphics of the Revolution will be 2 or 3 times better than the Gamecube. But, some post before said something about the patent that Nintendo filed that allows graphics to be just as good as the XBOX 360, with miminal power used. So, we'll see.
Nintendo has something up thier sleeves once again.

We cant really say Rev will suck, or PS3 will suck or 360 will suck.

We really havent seen anything from Rev to say it will fail.
We havent seen PS3 in action and as for 360 they still have a few kinks to work out.

But whos to say Rev or PS3 wont have kinks in them. In order to say whos best we have to wait until all systems have been out and have at least 20 game titles to choose from.

Oh yeah the psp had lots of bugs an dthats sony. Anyway the 360 gets gears of war which looks very good. I might want that.

So, the 360's been out for about 2 months now and i want to know what you guys think of thier launch? Was it a successful launch or a weak launch?

I say it's among the weakest because there wasn't even ONE killer app. on it.
PS2 came with a sleeper hit in Time Splitters, all the Nintendo consoles came out with thier Mario's and the first Xbox came with its Halo. And the 360 well......came with crap.

well perfect dark was suppose to be it but failed. They said the games in general were one of the best over all launch. Also ps3 and rev didn'y come out so....and japan killed the 360 nuff said they spat on in...it did good enough in the us but they ran out of 360 which is dumb(they didn't make enough)

To me the 360 failed because they decided a world wide launch which is extremely hard to do. They didnt have any titles that interested me. When I first saw the system working and a few game demos on it, I was like, damn those cannot be the final graphics version. Then again we cant judge because the games were made on developer kits that were not the final version.

XBOX360 DEBUT = FAIL

XBOX360 OVERALL = GOOD
