Anyone ever see that Playstation 9 commercial? And how much will that cost when that comes out..

like 10g's.

I'd say 20 g's ermm

Wow, I am so glad I got a 360.... The PS3's launch basically sucks... only 400,000 units in North america and only one game that I would have any interest in (Resistance, of course) On the other hand, most of the games for the Wii that were supposed to be really good (such as Zelda, Excite Truck and Red Steel) are getting pretty bad reviews. Zelda scored an 8.8 at gamespot, which isn't bad... but it isn't exactly as good as expected either. Excite truck got a 6.8 and Red Steel got a 5.5 ....... all three games I thought would have scored in the 9s

*Reads Gears of War reviews* I love Xbox

According to gamerankings@com, the reviews for Zelda have been overwhelmingly positive. It has an average of 95.7% at the moment.

I think everyone's finally realized that Sony's full of themselves. They're not the be all and the end all of the entertainment world, though they'd like you to believe it. The fks. Sony just sucks. They're like the Wal-Mart of Electronics. Harsh? Hardly.

Why did you think Red Steel would score well?

Red Steel was being pretty hyped up a few months ago.

Just reading a few reviews about games for the Wii...and the Madden game looks to be alot of fun.

Before the reviews, I was a tad weery about the Wii...but after reading the reviews for Madden and Zelda, I think the Wii will be around for awhile...and could seriously cash in the casual gamer.

Just hope Nintendo can seriously get thier act together when it comes to games. I just wish I can play it before I buy the system near Christmas.

nintendo isnt going for graphics, its the gameplay.. its all about the gameplay... that apparently sucks lol.

hows the controller's reviews? are people slagging the wiimote or is it going over well?

one more question, i got into an argument today with somebody, you guys would know i think.. is the 360 or the ps3 the more powerful machine?

The PS3 is the more powerful machine.

there's a table there, and if you know anything about technology, you can see the PS3 is the overall more powerful system.

I picked up the Wii tonight, I didnt buy a game yet, Im going to get Zelda in the morning.

I played Wii Bowling, which is really fun, suprising amount of depth as far as spind and power based on your actions.

Ill get more into tomorrow, but Im tired from waiting all night. 😛

Well, today was an interesting day. I had to do all-day lawn work, and at about 10 AM I call Wal-mart to ask how they're handling the Wii launch at midnight. I'm told that there are already like 20 guys in line.

At freaking 10 AM.

Anyway, I call around to a couple other places, and they're either full with pre-orders, or not doing the midnight thing. So totally frazzled, I speed up my share of the lawn work to try and finish ASAP.

We finally finished around 2:00 PM, and I gather a bunch of junk together, chair, MP3 player, DS, games, drawing pad, food, and water. Got to Wal-mart, was told that there were 30 Wiis in the back room. Then I'm brought to the line.

I'm 29th.

With a sigh of relief, I set up my chair, and proceed... to wait.

10 hours. Thankfully, the people next to me had a laptop and DVDs, so we spent alot of the time watching Family Guy. It's strange, but spending 10 hours next to someone, you really get to feel like you know them.

Anyway, the camaraderie was great, and though I'd rather have not been forced to wait in a line for 10 hours, I really feel like it wasn't a bad experience at all.

Then midnight comes... and passes. It wasn't until about 12:10 that they actually started selling the systems. I got the Wii, a trio of extra controllers (with money from brothers and parents), Red Steel, and Excitetruck (needed a multiplayer game).

However, I couldn't get Zelda yet, because the EB staff had all punched out just before I got there. Dammit. I'll have it tomorrow morning, right after they open.

So I've spent some time setting the Wii up, as well as the wireless hookups, and a Mii, and Super Mario 64 just finished downloading. 😄

Now I'm smacking my pillow with my face, and not getting up until 9:30.

Haha, I was wondering why you weren't online at all yesterday 😛

Jeez anyone hear about the riots for getting a PS3??? Don't go buy a PS3 without bodyguards, otherwise you'll be shot and robbed of either your money or the PS3 or both!! That's flippin insane! Now, we see what kind of people go buy PS3, the violent ones!! I hope Sony gets a lot of bad press for this! I'm gettin a Wii when I get home, its cheaper, funner and safer!

Tonight at 6 my friend and I are going to post his PS3 on my ebay page. He wants to use my account -since i have a high rating- and he'll give me 5% of whatever the PS3 sells for.

I'm game. From the research I've done so far, what I'm gonna consider is to start the bid at double what he purchased it for which was $600. Lets say $650 w/tax. So I'll say $1300.

Hm, I wonder if i should factor in the 5% I'll get, shipping costs, and ebay fees, meaning adding those number to the starting bid. That way, all fees will be covered from the beginning. The only downside to that is that you don't wanna scare off customers with a steeper than currently normal ebay ps3 price. We could do free shipping by saying we'll ship for free when in reality the shipping costs will be covered in the bid.

Or maybe we should do shipping and just factor in all fee's minus the ps3 price meaning along with the ebay fees and my 5% piece of it..

What do you guys think? ..

Wow, its good to see people at least know how to compare hardware to another but then again does hardware alone make a system the best?

i wasnt talking about hardware, i jsut wanted to know which was powerful. the 360 is the best 😛
