They look mostly the same but not exactly. In the pictures above in the thread it looks like they're all one piece; in the pictures in the link it looks more like the keyboard is something seperate that attaches onto the controller.
Either way, I think it looks really stupid.
The first pictures that were displayed were CGI, you'd have to be blind not to notice.
Does anyone else feel that the Elite Xbox 360 is a bit pointless? Whats the point of having a HDMI connection if a HD-DVD drive isn't installed in the machine in the first place?!
Plus you'll probably be able to buy the bigger harddrive seperate anyway.

I agree... like I said earlier they are just pulling an APPLE move where all they are doing is changing the color and adding 2 or 3 things.

I doubt they do anything if they are pressed in a game. Plus you'd have to really all over the place to hit the keypad. That would be like muting your headset without knowing it.

Regarding the Wii. I can see one of my online stores is getting 28 in on the 18th of this month. Such a small number.

I'd say the Wii is easily considered possibly the best console of this generation. I think it's safe to say Nintendo and Microsoft are crushing Sony this generation, six exclusives made by Sony Computer Entertainment of America aren't enough for Playstation 3 to take over.
Final Fantasy 13 can easily be ported to 360, as well as MGS4 in due time. I'd say in the fall Sony may sell 2-3 million more in preparation for Ratchet & Clank, MGS4, FF13, and the few other exclusives made by SCEA.

That may be jumping the gun a bit. I'd say that the Nintendo Wii has had a good start, that's all. Microsoft isn't really beating Sony at all. Microsoft still has to break the Japanese market since it still has poor sales there.
PS3 did have the fastest selling launch in the UK with a large amount sold and yes even though after 2 days those sales dropped rapidily they still sold more than the Wii.
It isn't clear yet who will come out tops, but its certainly the best generation to be a console player.

In a gaming sense 'Well, they are Sony' has an incredible amount of capital. They have been the driving force behind gaming for the last decade. No point ignoring that. It gives them a certain amount of leeway and loyalty.
