Last-Gen Console Discussions (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii)

Right now I would be more worried about what games you will be playing this summer because as we all know the gamming industry isnt exactly the best in the summer with hardly any games being released.

5 words and a number - MOVE OVER FOR THE XBOX 360

Meh. As of right now, still not a single game on the 360 (that's out) that I have any desire to play, personally.

Right now the 360's really only good if you're a fan of shooters, as that's what most of the games on it are (and most of the remaining ones are sports). Multiplayer's always been something that puts me off more than makes me want a game, too.

The 360 just simply needs a greater variety of games. With any luck, though, it'll get that variety by the end of the year.

I don't have a 360 because I don't particularly want one at the moment. As I said, there is quite literally not a single game currently out on it that I have any desire to play, and I'm not going to drop $400 on a system that I'm not going to use.

RPGs are what I like the play the most, yes.

I kind of don't want the Final Fantasy Series to come to the Xbox 360 b/c that was really the only MAIN reason I was getting a Playstation Three.

Now I don't even know if I want a Playstation Three.

Broad Swords looks good and all but I don't think it's enough to pull me over to the dark side.

I'm just curious about where 13 Versus is headed, considering the ps3gamer article mentioned the Wii/DS. This could make things interesting with the series though, since Crystal Chronicles 2 is coming to the Wii, the question of FF14 comes up as well, where will that be?

I also noticed something interesting about the Ps2 and 3. The Ps2 had the worst technology, and yet it sold the best out of all 3, and Sony drops the ball for the Ps3 with the expensive crap and can't move units worth a shit.

Well if you think about it, a huge majority of gamers only play shooter games.

I wouldn't say it's a majority at all because that would mean that over half of all people who play games ONLY play shooters.

Open-ended games are not my thing. There's absolutely nothing interesting in them to keep me playing (and no, going around levelling up and collecting treasure does not keep me interested at all). That's why I don't play MMOs.

Please don't get ahead of yourselves. FFXIII is going cross platform. We do not know which platforms. 360 is most likely, but nothing is confirmed.

It's pretty obvious 360 will get it though from everything ive been reading.

Man, you and everyone else who thinks that I think the 360 sucks really need to read my posts 😛 I've said multiple times that there's nothing on it that I like right now. Once Blue Dragon and Bioshock come out, there'll be a couple games I play!

Though it's not confirmed that FFXIII will be on the 360, only that it's not PS3 exclusive anymore.
