There's only one I could find available in the UK right now and that was the Joytech. Works well enough. They may improve in future but it does the job.

I thought the Premium bundle is HDMI compatible as well and has the cable? Some of my friends have the premium and told me that?

Nope, the premium comes with component cables.

Don't ask me what the difference between component and HDMI is, I have no idea, just that they're not the same thing.

a friend told me that HDMI is higher than component cables.. because HDMI allows the visual data to come through uncompressed.. so you are seeing the image straight from the hardware untainted.. at least I think thats how he put it o.O

HDMI cables have the ability to upscale the image to look best on your tv while the HD component cables only allow the image to be converted from digital to HD... at least thats how I read it. Its very complex to explain because it also depends on what tv you have.

I bought the premium and it came with the HD-Component cables and they are not the same.

The premium is HDMI compatible except you need HDMI port and the cables. The component cables that come with it do nothing other than make the image HD or as close to an HDMI image would look like. To me it makes no difference because I honestly do not see a difference between HD or HDMI, the image to me just looks brighter and more clear.

You also forgot to mention how Nintendo has brainwashed everyone into buying a Wii and how Microsoft is hiding the fact that the Elite once blugged in will be self aware.

Nintendo really didn't brainwash everybody, they wanted a Wii because it IS the best deal, between the backwards compatibility with GC, Wii games, and the Virtual Console classics. Gates did what he does best always, by telling people what they will buy just to try to 'hurt' Sony.

Let's also not forget that Microsoft bought Sony's ads on their gamespot page.

I rented Monkey Ball to play with my gf, because she thinks thier cute, and I lost interest about 10 minutes into it. It's not the gameplay that I lost interest ( I loved the second one), it was the control scheme. It required pin point precision which my hand cant provide. And the mini games sucked ass.

I'll probably rent Red Steel just to try it out...but after that, I'm probably going to go back to my other system, and/or dl Zelda OoT and a bunch of other games on the VC.

Great system, same problem with games....not that I care that much because well, I bought it to play Nintendo games and the 360 for everything else.

pretty much the same thing happened to me after i played TP...i was kind of like "what now?" there is no game out for nintendo thats really worth 50 dollars off the bat. I made the fatal mistak of purchasing marvel ultimate alliance and i played it once for about 10 minutes...and i nearly cried about the 50 dollar purchase....all i've really played is my 360 and literally my wii is collecting dust...on the bright side mario party 8 is on the way 😄
oh yea and red steel isnt that great at all...

Wii Sports still gets good usage from me. I try to do my fitness test every day, the family loves bowling tournaments, and I play a lot of tennis when bored.

Yeah, bowling is awesome.

I usually bowl 5-6 games in a row. Got around 260 or so.

I ****ing love it.

TP right now is still pretty damn amazing. I've played roughly 18 hours and I just got the third dungeon.
