Nah, I mean just regular cable input that people have had since to beginning of television. I think its called an R/V cable. Or what people assume would be the TV cable.
Red, Yellow and White cables are called composite cables and have been used for awhile now, atleaset since N64 days, and DVD players.
If you buy an Samsung HDTV, you need component cables, which are the Blue, Green and Red cables. You also need an set of audio cables, which are white and red. I think thats the case.
You need to have the component cables for anything HD related, and if you buy an HDTV, any reciever will be fine. Currrently, I have an regular digital box and and HD box and the digital box has all the hookups ranging from old school RV cable input, to composite, to S-Video to component. The HDTV box it doesnt really matter because you only be using component and HDMI cables.
Obviously, my digital box will be different from others, but I'm assuming companies will allow configurations for the most amount of people.
Trust me, after I bought my HDTV, cables have been the bane of my existence, especially if you dont have alot of inputs.
