If they had to make the choice, MS would be better off to get the FF games over thier consoles.MGS, not so much. If they had it, thats great, but FF is more important. I dont know how many people would go for the 360 just because of FF.

I messed up.
I meant, " I think more people would go for the 360 if it had FF than if it got MGS".

It was ugly, poorly designed, bulky/clunky. The controller as well. Not to mention the library of games sucked. I could hardly ever find something I would like to play. I can only think of 2 games that came out for it that I wanted to play the entire time.
That was "Jade Empire" and "Fable."
I also had no intention of getting the XBOX 360 when that came out. By then I was just uninterested with all things XBOX.
Then the games started being announced and started coming out for it.....the Playstation 3 price was announced...( 😐 ).....and the games actually interested me and the Playstation 3 had nothing to offer so of course I went with the most logical choice between the 2.
Why I just typed all of that I don't know. Completely lost my train of thought......even my point...was there ever one? Hmmm..
Anyway yeah.......I believe if Final Fantasy was to come out for the XBOX 360 and I still didn't have one for some odd reason or other, I would definitely CONSIDER jumping on that horse then instead of chancing it and waiting for the Playstation 3 to get its act together....although..I don't see how it can really do that now....Yeah it's price can be dropped...but what's the point if there aren't really that many good games on the system to play and it's losing exclusives left and right, therefore deeming the console not worth getting.

I never liked the XBOX, but I love the XBOX 360 they turned themselves around, even if 87% of their games are shooters, I believe it will win the console wars, the Wii is ingenious anyone who said it was a gimmick should be in shame, such a great console; full of variety, as for the PS3 let it burn in the oceans of magma, in the plain of oblivion.
Microsoft is gonna release original XBOX games for download on Live starting December 4th.

I guess, it is the publisher who makes the console bad, they have lost their hold on exclucives, and the games unique to them are not the best of quaility bar a minor few, I guess it is the corperate giant who is to blame for the PS3's rather sudden demise, quite Ironic that the PS2 was the top dog and the Gamecube was a zero, for it to know switch around, well sort of depends if you want to put the XBOX 360 above it.

Blue Dragon seemed to do a pretty good job in Japan so throw in Final Fantasy (which is like the biggest game series in Japan) and the 360 would get a huge boost in sales over there.
It's amazing that not too long ago Sony was top dog with the PS and PS2 dominating the console wars and getting all the best games out there while Microsoft and Nintendo struggled to even match half of Sony's sales (in terms of the console market). Then Sony stated they were going to take Nintendo out of the handheld market with the release of the PSP and now two years (or so) later the DS has become the fastest selling handheld system while the PSP can't seem to get any great games.
So it seemed that with the PSP losing to the DS Sony seemed to put all their effort into the PS3. Microsoft was worried (you can tell considering they rushed the 360 just to get it out Christmas of 06 with some many faults in the system) and Nintendo was checking out how the DS was going (if the DS failed Nintendo stated they would have changed the Wii completely).
Suddenly the PS3 came out and it is losing all its exclusive games left and right to Microsoft while all the third-party developers are now making exclusive games for the Wii. Sony is now at the bottom of the ladder with the next-gen consoles while Nintendo is now on top with the Wii. I hope you die Sony! Serves you right for killing the Dreamcast!!!! 😠
