Last-Gen Console Discussions (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii)

Im excited about Home, and when ever Metal Gear and Killzone finally make it out, ill play them. For now though, its all about my movies. 😛

MGS4, now that will be the best exclusive they have, I won't be surprised if XBOX gets it later, as for Killzone a blatant yet not as good ripoff of Halo, invisible walls, pathetic A.I not even using the real engine or game play at firs showing, poor Sony, very poor.

I never played the first Killzone, but ill check this one out, the setting looks very cool. I prefer the dirty grimy setting to Halo's super clean future.

But the games seem almost an afterthought.

Seriously, I had Game Design class yesterday and someone brought in his PS3 to show Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Eye of Judgment. But he spent more time showing off all the multimedia stuff the glorified grill could do than both games combined, and Ninja Gaiden included the entire final chapter.

Killzone 1 sucked and Killzone PSP sucked...so following the pattern I would say that they better make Killzone 2 good because Sony has been trying to hype up that game for two years now.

I say the hype stopped when they actually showed footage.

Nothing special in my opinion and definitely not up to the standards of the supposed "actual game footage"....aka...."game trailer."

It's amazing that not too long ago Sony was top dog with the PS and PS2 dominating the console wars and getting all the best games out there while Microsoft and Nintendo struggled to even match half of Sony's sales (in terms of the console market). Suddenly the PS3 came out and it is losing all its exclusive games left and right to Microsoft while all the third-party developers are now making exclusive games for the Wii. Sony is now at the bottom of the ladder with the next-gen consoles while Nintendo is now on top with the Wii. [b]I hope you die Sony! Serves you right for killing the Dreamcast!!!! 😠 [/B]

For awhile, I was avid Nintendo and PC fanboy but I realized that its good to have many consoles.

Killzone is a bad game.

U.S. sales of video game hardware and software jumped 73 percent in October, with Nintendo Co Ltd's (7974.OS) Wii console regaining its spot as the top-selling console, industry data showed on Thursday.

Total sales were $1.1 billion, compared with $643 million a year earlier...

Nintendo sold 519,000 Wiis while Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O) sold 366,000 Xbox 360 consoles and Sony Corp (6758.T) sold 121,000 of its PlayStation 3 machines.

Nintendo still remains top...kinda weird since gamecube flopped
But I guess Nintendo learned their lesson

Kind of ironic, don't ya think, the Nintendo was doing very bad, and the Playstation was on top, well now the tables have turned.

I wouldn't call it ironic...I would call it justice.

xbox 360 is also doing well too
With all the upcoming games it has, I am sure Xbox 360 will out sell playstation 3 into the new year

That's not saying much. Sony needs to get some games out that will make people want to buy the PS3.

I think the XBOX is a better console, nobody wants to buy a PS3 now, it may be too late, Either way I am sticking with my Box and Wii.

I think it would be appropriate to mention now that my 360 should be here tomorrow.

Does that mean I've become a Wii60 supporter? 😛

Well I like both Nintendo and Microsoft too and I hate Sony (they destroyed the Dreamcast!).
