Definitely the Wii will sell the most again. There is absolutely no question of that.
As for games, I would not actually say Halo because, as was pointed out, most people who want it have it already. I'd go for Mario Galaxy and COD4. Also Guitar Hero. Rock Band would probably be up there if not for the price and limited availability.
I have a couple of friends who work at Gamestop, and they've told me how at their store they often lie to customers about whether or not they have Wii (they often have them, but just don't want to sell them). I question them about this a lot, because frankly it seems pretty stupid, and they tell me it's because they've been told to be careful about who to sell a Wii to, because many people resell them.
Why this concerns the people at gamestop is beyond me.

I had some lady ***** at me over the phone for five minutes yesterday about how half the people resell them on ebay and today the damn thing ended up in the garbage can because we were so sick of the damn phone calls ermm
But yeah, lying about it is just stupid, especially considering how few we usually get. The only time we've intentionally said we didn't have any in stock when we did is when we were getting ready for the Black Friday sales and had to hold them.
No, though THAT is getting very tempting as well - as much as I want one still I'm starting to hate the damn things because that's all we ever hear about at work. Do you have Wiis. When will you get them. Why don't you have any. Why can't you hold it for me. Why can't you call me when you get some. Why can't I just give you my credit card number. And so on. People whine at us on Sunday when we don't have any and I'm very tempted to just ask if they get mail on Sundays and why do they think we do.
It was the phone that ended up in the garbage can 😛
Well, it also doesn't help that it's almost Christmas so everyone has to have it. But the day before Thanksgiving I decided to start tallying how many times we were asked if we had them, something we've continued doing. It's generally upwards of 40-50 times a day right now.
I do want one, but seriously, whenever I see that damned box with the white text that means we have some, I want to kick it through the damn window 😛
I do know for a fact that there are people who come into my store looking for them and then ebay them. Generally, if you happen to get lucky and buy one, coming in again the next day asking for one gives it away real fast.
