Now that you mention it...if sony lowered the price to say....$300 just for a month and a half during the holiday season...I would have definately bought one.

And speaking more bluntly about Kotick, he said if the Activision CEO didn't appreciate the way Sony is currently running its PlayStation business, "maybe he should design a platform."

Do you see that happening? Will Nintendo go down to the 100$ mark, or will they take advantage of their position in the market, and keep the price a bit longer?

Well, no, because you make money out of their software sales. You are hardly going to say they should go cheaper.

Well, we have to accept that the attractive pricing is one of the reasons for the Wii's success (though it must be said... even if the others had been the same price I probably would have gone for the Wii, though more gruimpily).

So when the other consoles finally erode that issue, then we'll see Wii sales being affected.

So eventually, yes, they'll cut it.

They've already stretched it longer than the others at the entry price. Give it another year.

Sony is much more than Playstation, they will never get anywhere near bankrupt. 🙄

Got to give credit to Sony on this one, I think this is pretty damn cool, though useless to me since I got rid of my PSP.You can now play PS1 games on PSP remotely if you put the game disc in the PS3.

So you can use a hacked PSP to do the same thing, and you don't have to pay all that money for a PS3.

And you can use an emulator to play all the VC games you download for Wii, and I know you download VC games, so your point is stupid.

VC games

I use an emulator for most my old games, but the point is you can use your PSP to play ps1 games, therefore it is not a stupid point, it is not confronting your point, fact is it can already be done for free, makes you point kinda dumb now.

I have a hacked PSP, plays PS1 games fine, and I don't have to buy a PS3 to do it.

Money issue solved.
