I must admit, I always have to wonder if people know nothing of games beyond the current and last generation when they say "games are getting worse" and "they only make them for profit". There's always been a ton of bad games and companies have ALWAYS made games in order to make a profit.
Similarly, I've seen a lot of people talking about how Wii games are crap because Nintendo doesn't have that seal of quality anymore that it did with the NES and SNES. What they don't realize is that that has absolutely nothing to do with the actual quality of the game (there's a LOT of shit games for those systems as well), but the fact that they were very easily pirated and thus if a game had a seal it was official. It's not needed anymore, though, as technology has evolved so there's other ways of making sure it's a legit copy.
I don't know. Something that's always amused me. It's very easy to ignore how many purely garbage games exist for, say, the PS2, because there's such a massive back library. But they certainly exist, just as very good games exist for the Wii.

Yup. And Umbrella Chronciles is pretty good (no classic, but good), Zack and Wiki is by many accounts extremely good, we've got Wii Fit coming- not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but you can bet it's going to be freaking huge...Yeah, really not at all bad there.
I can definitely vouch for Umbrella Chronicles. Plays havoc with the previous games (and the RE3 stage is nearly Outbreak: Jill Edition) but I'll be damned if it isn't good fun.
I have heard much about Zack & Wiki being good, but I actually haven't heard about the game itself. Need to look into that.

I agree with you.
Just look at the amount of developers that are out there now. Just that reason increases quality.
Xbox 360's suck. Mine always screws up as does everyone else's I know. Microsoft released a faulty product. I'm sick of the damn thing, it won't even turn on anymore! I'll have to send it away to get fixed again, at least it's free.
I'm going to buy a Playstation 3 next week. My friends say I'm such a tomboy because I spend more on games than make-up...

You know, I have had no problems whatsoever with my 360. Not even a simple freeze.

Tell your friends that they are idiots because it is nothing but sexy to get beaten on a videogame by a girl. While your friends are off shopping for their makeups...you can be playing video games with their boyfriends...with their Wii...heh heh.

Equality goes for games to.
So apparently, Crysis has been doing... not so good, having sold less than 100,000 units in its first month. Most are contributing this to the fact it requires more than $1500 worth of PC upgrades to play as intended.
So is this overreaching, or the next step in PC gaming?
So I was at Gamestop yesterday to pick up NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams and the store was packed. The UPS guy came and delivered everything that day and someone asked, "any Wiis?" and my friend who works at Gamestop said, "No Wiis." Everyone left the store but me. Everyone there was trying to get a Wii.
