Which is rather odd....MGS franchise doesn't involved Anime looking characters or cute big eye pets, yet it remains well planted in Japan.😛
But it is a Japanese game, told in a very Japanese way (lots of exposition) ... And it's got plenty (if not a lot) of fan service.
... that, and Otakon (Otaku)...
Curious: I stopped by my local Game shop today, and talked with the dude working there about the 120GB HD for the 360 (my 20GB is feeling so small at times). And he told me about something he had hears, apparently Arcade games that you have bought and downloaded are registered to your storage device, not your gamertag. So if you spend 100$ buying Arcade games, and then upgrade your storage device from 20GB to 120GB without backing up the files, you would have to buy all the Arcade games again. I thought this sounded very strange, logic would say that bought games are connected to the Gamertag and you could download them again for free with the new harddrive.
Any truth to this?

Dunno if this apply:
Microsoft's Solution To DRM Problem Released
...Microsoft released its supposed solution to the DRM problem that has plagued everyone who downloaded something on one console, was bitten by the three red lights of death, and tried to port their purchased downloadable content onto their repaired system only to find out that it was impossible to do so. The solution is extremely easy but can only be done once every 12 months so it's important not to screw it up. Thankfully it's virtually idiot-proof.
The first step is to sign-in to this website with the e-mail and password that are linked to your gamertag. Once you click "Start the license transfer now" link, you'll be taken to a screen that lists the consoles that have downloaded content using your gamertag.
...
With the upcoming Price cut for the 360 you would expect Sony to do the same. Unfortunally this is what they're saying now:
http://www.engadget.com/2008/07/11/sonys-cfo-says-no-playstation-3-price-cut-is-planned/
"this year, [Sony's] strategy is not to sell more quantity for PS3 but to concentrate on profitability."
Does this mean Blu-ray is profitable?

Microsoft has done nothing but shown trailers and told us info we already know. The only "new" thing was the FFXIII going to the 360. That's it.
exactly the only thing was FFXIII coming also to xbox 360, which will be developed after the PS3 version is released in Japan. That is the only [shocking] thing.
if Microsoft did not have that, it would be like E3 07's "Scene It!!"
if Microsoft did not have the FFXIII news, this E3 08 of microsoft would be "NetFlix" chyeah

I thought the netflix and the upcoming XBL thingies help.
Then there is the announcement by Bungie tomorrow. I think they got the edge this year. Unlike last year....we all remember the fugly Halo 3 edition 360.
