That's cool.I wouldnt mind getting a PS3 but it was either that or the 360 and there is no way I can have both.
I also wouldnt mind playing all the MGS in a row to see the story. Too bad they havnt released a MGS pack for the 360 like they did for the GC.
There was a MGS pack for gamecube? 😕
or do you mean "The Twin Snakes"?
I have a friend on the fence between 360 and PS3. I had him leaning toward 360, but our other friends convinced him of the PS3. I have friends with both systems, so I'm fairly ambivalent. All these ones play are sports games, which should still mean that XBox Live makes it > PS3 for sports, but they're all used to the PS controllers and don't want to switch. Apparently, having an X button in a different location is a big deal to people who don't play many games.
*shrug*
Sony has lost 3.3 BILLION dollars since it launched the PS3. Ouch. 😑

Since its launch in 2006, Sony's PlayStation 3 has incurred losses of some $3.3 billion dollars due to 'strategic pricing' that sees the console sold under its production costs.Sony's annual report – cited by Forbes - admitted that, "Even if the platform is ultimately successful, it may take longer than expected to recoup the investment, resulting in a negative impact on Sony's profitability." Kotaku broke down the numbers to reveal that the PS3's pricing led to a loss of $2.16 billion in 2007 and a $1.16 billion loss in 2008.
With neither Grand Theft Auto IV or the exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4 having a significant impact on console sales, it could well be some time before Sony sees a profit from the PS3, with analyst Michael Pachter telling Forbes, "The console is still too expensive for the masses. A recession isn't going to help HDTV or Blu-ray sales."

I think so but I don't really know the details of that sort of thing.

Sony is just going to continue to milk the PS2 cow. It's practically covering the gap of the PS3 and PSP sales.Well, I guess this is pretty official now. Nintendo beat Sony this gen.
Go take a look at the list of upcoming PS2 games. There's nothing coming out for it. They're going to be stopping with the PS2 very soon.
Sony's lost over $3,000,000,000 on the PS3.
