While we're at it, GL should go ahead and put in all those deleted scenes. Who cares how irrelevent they are or how long they extend the movie, it's GL's creation.

I read somewhere that McCallum had said that the DVD may very well contain the full four hours of scenes that the original script encompassed. Which includes the scenes with Padme's family and all the other scenes mentioned as well.

I also noticed on some Behind-The-Scenes footage that they shot something in the lightsabre fight that Dooku was also holding TWO sabres at one point.... I wonder what that is.

Well queeq, that's...that's Dooku holding two lightsabers.

Look:

During the final duel between Dooku and Yoda, Dooku calls Anakin's lightsaber from Anakin's severed arm. He fights Yoda with two lightsabers. I seriously want to see that.

I thought he fought Anakin with two sabres?

So did I. And that's not Anakins lightsaber, his is green at that moment, if I don't remember wrong ofcource.

But why the hell would they cut that fight out. It would've been great. It's not like one more 30 seconds or something would make the movie too tall or anything, only better.

THe blue one gets cut in half by Dooku I think.

Looking at the Dough Chiang design I'd say the one holding two sabres is Dooku, although I'm not sure about that. The way the scene is cut now I couldn't figure for the life of me figure out where the two-sabre fight could fit.

Ah, sod it, I'll wait for the DVD. Incidentally in the Behind the Scenes footage I saw Dooku lose one of those two sabres, either pulled from him or he throws it at something. Either THAT or they shoot the bits where you pull a sabre towards you in reverse and that shot was actually him pulling it to him.

I must see Dooku with two sabers in action! They have that picture of him in that stance in the Visual Dictionary for Episode II, do they not?

I know that. It's about that shot in the film where it lands cut in half. Ush is arguing that that might actually be a reverse shot of Dooku force grabbing it from the floor.
