Marvel wasn't there. I would like to add that Kryptonian tech has been revised since then. As shown in Up, Up, and Away; Shazam was one of many heroes that couldn't even get through the Kryptonian force field around Metropolis.
So yeah, Supes could take over the world even easier nowadays, and not even have to get his hands dirty

well the most mermorable would probbly be spiderman, hes still the worlds most known hero.
And his wall crawling and webslinging are still pretty unique

I don't think so, I know a lot of people who don't know who Spiderman is, Batman is more known but every one knows Superman, honestly...

Really i dont see how people dont know who spiderman is. he is the most known marvel character and is seen everywhere. He along with superman are the poster boys for comic books

Oh sry, I don't mean in the USA or so, I live in Germany, I was born in Poland.
I visited my Family, in Poland, this X-Mas and honestly, my aunts and uncles don't know who Spiderman is, sure they aren't interested in comics, maybe they have seen Spiderman in the TV but they swiched the channel and forgot him instantly. My male cousins may know him, my female cousins surely don't 😉.
They know Batman though, because of the first movie with Michael Keaton. It was after all more of an event, especially after the end of the communism in 1989, when the people were curious to experience new things from the rich west.
However, when we talk and Supermans names comes to play I never had the need to explain who or what he is, they simply knew...
Though, when I think about it, I don't know why 😕

Yes he is the most recognized comic character in the world and has been for decades. Not the best selling anymore but the most recognized.
Back when they changed his powers for a while, it made news everywhere from the Tonight Show to the Evening News. People who hadn't read a Superman comic in decades were still incensed that they changed something about the ideal. I don't recall it being so big a deal outside the comic reading public when Spider-Man's costume changed.
Nope. He was made by kids & it shows. He came out at a time when there weren't many or any super guys in tights so naturally the standards were reeeeeeeeally low. It's all opinion but the majority of the time you'll see Spider-Man @the very top of lists like these, or even Wolverine(Logan's better than Supes but he's not the greatest) Supes ususually manages to be in the top 4. In Bravo's Ultimate list Supes came in 2nd(didn't deserve it. Bats is better than him). Spidey was @the top slot. Wizard's list from a few years back had Spidey @#1 Then Bats then I don't remember the rest. Their most recent one had Logan, Bats Spidey & then Supes @#4. 4 is still being VERY generous to Supes. There's just so many better characters out there. Supes can't be the best. He's not even the top guy in DC.

He cuts people. 😂 To be honest he's just waaay more interesting, but as I said it's all a matter of opinion. His back story and costume are also waay cooler he's not overpowered either. He's never used Tvo. 😄. He's an @sshole & he's overrated by some, but he's interesting as hell when he's written right. You obviously think Supes is better. Why?
