They are not loosing out but why not get the extras. It's like sprinkles on ice cream. Oh if you don't own a gc then get it too.

Assignment Ada isn't useless because it reveals at the end that Wesker is planning to revive Umbrella. This, being the original game, means that it did so BEFORE the PS2 version. So considering that you love Seperate Ways because it gives you that info, maybe you better recognise that we already know it, because it's ALREADY THERE.
It doesn't ADD to the story. It tells you other parts of an already existing story. Doesn't add to what will happen in the future. It doesn't CHANGE the end to 4.

If you don't have either game and you get the GC version, you're not ANY worse off. Extras are only for people who find that kind of thing to be an addition. A fun aside, which is all they are. And that's fine with me.
I am at a loss as to why people here view it as making the GAME, THE MAIN GAME, better. It doesn't.
You are not getting a better main game because of the extras.
