Saw 3

Through a series of flashbacks, this one explains a bit. It explains the major plot-hole we discussed to death from the first movie, how did Jigsaw lie still for so long?

Best SAW movie yet, then I would go with SAW II.

After seeing The Departed, Saw III, and The Prestige, I would say that this movie is tops. All of them had interesting twist though.

I especially enjoyed the "park flashback" - where we got to see a past relationship of Jigsaw's. It hurt me though that it was only about... 2.5 seconds : (! Dude. lol

Man, this was very awful. I fell asleep. I finally woke up with thirty minutes left. I waited for it to get better, but it didn't. So I walked out and gave The Departed a second go around. Someone needs to tell this guy how to make a movie.

Very gorey! Some more sick traps! A conclusion.

How can you fall asleep on a movie that in the first 20 minutes we see

a guy rip his foot off, a lady getting her ribs pulled out, a guy having to pull chains off his body, then getting blown up

IMO the SAW series is one of the top horror movie series ever, #1 in my book.

I hate that I'm not going to be able to see this thing when it comes out, cuz I'm a big fan. I'm working offshore in Brazil and I won't be home until... Nov. 25. I'm sure they'll leave it open ended so there's potential for a sequel. But it would have start going in new direction, or perhaps back, because I throughly enjoyed the first much more so than the 2nd. To me 2 was over stylized and with silly traps...

I saw this movie last night, only because all of my friends were going and I was bored. I'm not going to write a review, instead I'll just say that this movie is no different from the first 2 movies: I hated it, it was predictable, similar to the other 2, and I was not entertained.

So I saw this last night. The traps were gruesome, I will agree, but I didn't like it as much as the second.

Why:

The ending wa obvious. So obvious that I was trying to make up endings that might not be as obvious, thus I would be surprised. I wasn't. In the second movie, I couldn't believe that Amanda was in on it. I also didn't like how she didn't play b the rules. I understand they were trying to make the movie different, add depth etc., but it bothered me that her games were unwinnable. The gore was good,but i didn't think it was as gory as ppl have been saying. I didn't cringe, whereas in the second one I did, many times. Also, i thought that Jeff's challenge was way to easy. What was the point? What was tested with him?(yes, I know the big twist at the end, but that was nothing)

plus, didn't we see Lynn's husband (who wasn't Jeff) ask for a divorce at the beginning?

(Lynn is wearing a contraption with shotgun shells around her neck, which will kill her when johns heartbeat stops)in the end, amanda is threatening to shoot Lynn, the doctor who is taking care of John. She says nobody learns from the games, and they just continue to be wrongdoers. John is telling her not to, that she is important etc etc. Meanwhile, Jeff picks up a gun and exits the room where his game was being played. Amanda shoots Lynn, who turns out to be Jeff's wife. He walks in and shoots Amanda in the neck. She falls on the floor and John begins to explain to her that he trained her, but she wasn't following in his footsteps. She's been making games unwinnable, so she was nothing more than a murderer(he said he hated murderers at the beginning). He then goes on to say that he was testing her, seeing if she would be able to pass. He hadn't told her Jeff was Lynn's husband. Amanda dies. Lynn is dying. john asks Jeff for forgiveness. (His entire game was about forgiving the people who helped protect the drunk driver who killed his son). Jeff ends up cutting John's throat with a saw. John pulls out recorder and it turns out this was the final part of Jeff's test. He says that he hasn't learned anything, and he still doesnt understand forgiveness. (around this time, john dies and the con traption around Lynn's neck kills her)(Jeff didn't know about the contraption). He then goes on to say that he will be given one more chance. His daughter is locked somewhere and the oxygen level is slowly depleting. Let the game begin. Jeff screams no over and over. The end

So ya, overall I give the movie a 7/10

First one is amazing. Second one is pretty good, but more like Horror than a thriller, and everybody knows Horror Movies blow. I still haven't seen Saw 3 yet, but I really want to.

It will be another dvd watch for me I think.

So you see, he didn't say

our divorce. He wanted her divorce. That's why she wasn't broken up about him saying that.

maker of the thread and i aint seen the damn movie yet..

this was the most spine chilling one. the 1st movie was the mind game playing movie. the 2nd was the in your face movie. saw 3 is just plain sick

I liked it A LOT. I thought the games and traps were a lot scarier and funner this time. Lots of the parts made me wince, and it was amazing.

I hated what happened to all the main characters.......but thats what made it a good movie. I hope there isn't another sequel though, that'd probably just ruin it, eh?
