I say hes the biggest dummie because of that.
Its also not feminist or anything if she turns up being a lesbian. Doesnt have anything to do with what she belives.
But probably shes like in the ancient greece. swinging both ways without the pudor.
Free love bubs.
"No. Aquaman for awhile had a crush on WW. It never led to anything but flirting."
The are always flirting, and didnt Aquaman during Waid`s league run had him kissing her after Arthur admiting he "liked" her?
Its almost fun how pll trow the gay stuff thanks to the costume and yet hes always between hot chicks.
Wonder Woman is underrated/unappreciated, IMO, because she suffers from three serious afflictions...
1. SCS: Silly Costume Syndrome. The same thing that Superman has to deal with. Designed back in the WWII 1940s, Wonder Woman's was supposed to be a testament to the greatness of America and the inspiration of freedom. IMO, a star-spangled bathing suit just doesn't work now. It takes away from any seriousness she might otherwise have as a comic-book character, especially since, in the last coupla decades, comic books have taken on more adult sensibilities.
2. SNS: Silly Name Syndrome. Again, similar to the above, it was a product of the simpler-times 1940s. It sounds cliche, dated, a moniker given minimal thought, a knee-jerk reflex to "Superman."
3. CDS: Character Defined Syndrome: This is one which is best exemplified by the Silver Surfer, as in, why does someone with so much power and so many kinds of powers, need a board to fly? Answer: cuz w/o it he wouldnt be the Silver Surfer.
Diana has a similar problem with her bracelets. In the effort to make WW different from Superman, and in this way more realistic, Mourston made her deflect bullets with her bracelets. Great idea, but it implies that she is not bulletproof nor does she have superhuman durability. Therefore, if bullets can harm her, it's hard to justify how she could take Superman's punches or heat vision. Yes, I've heard she deflects bullets to "demoralize" opponets. But IMO, I'd be much more frightened of someone who didn't have to do squat to handle bullets.
Neo: You mean I'll be able to dodge bullets?
Morpheus: I'm saying, you won't have to.
Yes, I've also heard WW can handle "blunt-force" trauma. Plausible, except that Superman can hit so much harder than a bullet, you would think that his power would more than compensate for the greater surface area of his fist. She is also apparently heat-proof (and radiation-proof? after all, it is said, Supes' heat vision is expelled solar energy and solar energy contains radiation). Seems to me, she can handle just about everything BUT bullets. So why not just get rid of the bracelets and make her durability more consistent all-around? Because deflecting things with her bracelets is Wonder Woman. To get rid of them is to make a fundamental change in someone who is (almost) iconic. Better yet, have her make better use of her bracelets. Crossing them to create a force field is not bad (if a little contrived), but I don't think she should have this "pick 'n' choose" durability. If anything, her being more vulnerable/less durable would make her a more interesting character, if overall less powerful. But isn't that what helped to make Superman more interesting?
'nuff said thanks for reading
