I had a ceiling fan in my room at my parents house. I'm still deathly afraid of it chopping me in my sleep every time I go back there.

I think Ax3l is a pretty cool guy. He's an hypochondriac and is afraid of anything. ...

Indeed, Ms. ButSane, most things are indeed scary. And if you think botulism is bad, we have had three separate occurences of the bacteria listeria here in Canada on deli meat products. THREE! Not to mention that listeria has a three-month incubation period, meaning someone could have eaten tainted meat and not known for three months. A dozen or so people have died so far.

Oh, and why is aspartame scary?

Well, I am resident forum jackass.
The majority of your posts are in the OTF and in this thread. I would hardly call that you a "Forum Jackass".

I'm afraid of ceiling fans too.

I believe in a previous visit I was labeled "Forum Jackass." However, although it is true that most of my posts are indeed here, I am generally annoying whenever I am here.

So, I may or may not be Forum Jackass.

Also, I used to go on a mixture of the SW forums and the OTF, but I restrict myself mainly to the OTF nowadays since the SW forums are being overrun with hundreds of noobs that have no idea what they're talking about.

They're terribly scary. shock

I'm also terrified of malls. I haven't been in one in at least 6 months.

My advice: if they're so scary, and you have to live with them, don't turn them on.

Problem solved.

It supposedly can cause cancer, brain tumors and the like...

1. They contain a large group of people, which I am also afraid of
2. People get shot there.
3. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I hate everyone in there as well.

There's one in my cousin's room that's unusually low, if you raise your hand you'd be touching the fan. That's at my height.

If you're taller, that's slicing the forearm. shock

I live in the South. It's not logical to not turn them on.

And now I'm scared of the portable fans. Ever since my cousins fan caught his room on fire.

Didn't you also get evacuated because of a fire alarm last time you went? hmm

Only if you have an allergy to the chemical PHK I believe, and it's very rare to have said allergy.

1. Most places have this.
2. Sadly, refer to item one again.
3. ...okay, this one is strange.
