fine, ill copy and paste from wiki:

John Charles is considered by many commentators to have been one of the greatest all-round footballers ever. He was of world class standard in both the centre-half and centre-forward positions, a rarity in football. Apart from his versatility, he was comfortable with either foot, possessed a delicate first touch and had great stamina and strength. But his greatest attribute was his aerial ability. During his days in the Army he played basketball which taught him to jump great heights. This ability enabled him to rise above defences and deliver powerful headers.

was Cruyff in the army?

did cruyff have to put up with crappy conditions of the 50s/60s footballs and pitches and rules?

I could copy and paste an article from wiki right now which says Johan Cruijff was elected the best player of all time by several 'experts' and the second best player of all time by a select group of former players INCLUDING Pelé. Can't be arsed though, and I'm sure you'll immediately look it up.

I'll just pray that that was a joke.

He did actually, considering he broke though in 1963.

giggs is up there with pele

Oh.

Here's my thing:

Football is (to me at least) a lame sport. The only difference between watching a mens team and a womens team is that hey, at least you get to look at some girls running around getting dirty.

But your's is fun too.

Do you really not get it, or are you just ****ing with me?

I reckon you'll pick the latter, whether you get it or not.

woops

Bob Lee Swagger can do ANYTHING.

Mrs. Jekyll and Mrs. Hyde

Hendrik Johannes Cruijff ( Johan Cruijff (help·info) - spelled Cruyff outside the Netherlands; see IJ (digraph) - born 25 April 1947 in Amsterdam) is a former Dutch football player and manager/coach. He was named European Footballer of the Year three times (1971, 1973, 1974)[1] which is a record jointly held with Michel Platini and Marco van Basten. Cruyff was the most famous exponent of the football philosophy known as Total Football,[1] explored by Rinus Michels.

After his retirement from playing in 1984, Cruyff became highly successful as manager of Ajax and later FC Barcelona; he remains an influential advisor to both clubs.

In 1999, Cruyff was voted European Player of the Century in an election held by the IFFHS, and came second, behind Pelé in their World Player of the Century poll.[2] He came third in a vote organised by the French weekly magazine France Football consulting their former Ballon d'Or winners to elect their Football Player of the Century.[3]
