Well obviously, using your logic, he doesn't. Actually, (going by your logic) he is the best player of all time.

Holland gave birth to two or three players who were better than Best and Charles (Cruijff, Van Basten and Bergkamp). One player who is arguably better than Pelé (Cruijff). Maradonna is the best of all time, with Cruyff coming in second.
