Yeah, guess that's it. Germany has a lot of decent to good metal bands, and France has a lot of decent to good electronica acts. Guess it comes down to what you prefer. Probably would have picked Germany myself, a couple of years ago.

Belgium has the awesomest radio channel. I was driving back from Antwerp last weekend, and they played Interpol, Cold War Kids (!!!), live footage of Nirvana, Foals and Fleet Foxes in one hour.
