mate will tell you a secret,most of everyone I know has depression scars and I know a shit ton of people, here is the secret, girls who laugh with you and have a good time with you as a friend or acquaintance will not judge you if they see your scars.
take me for example, I cannot shave my head any lower then a number 2 because my scar tssue on the back of my head will show, I cannot wear shorts because of the burns cuts and writing on my legs. my left arm is covered in burns and scars going across my shoulder and around my wrists.
I have never ever been judged by a girl who was a friend or a casual work buddy because most girls suffer with a form of depression. and the ones who judge and tease you for it have never known pain
It was different in Kendal, but the total opposite, in a super unhealthy way. It was basically a ****ing fad at one point, which pissed me off – glamourising the results of interminable depression is not cool.
I guess I don't have many friends any more though so who knows, maybe I will meet people who defy my expectations, all I know is that any hope of leading a normal life is pretty much non-existent
