Gad-damn, alright fine I guess I have seen a fair few Robin Williams films

I haven't watched Popeye for so long.

I've seen quite a large percent of his films. I didn't realise

Is it bad? mmm I mean if it's his worst film, that means it's worse than The Dark Knight Rises. Which, although having a stellar performance from Tom Hardy, easily ranks as one of the biggest stinkers of its year.

I liked The Dark Knight Rises well enough, it's just not as good as it's two predecessors. Insomnia isn't bad, it's just not good either.

I thought it had a fairly solid first half, but felt it all fell apart soon after Batman vs Bane. The last half an hour was... ridiculous.

I'm not really a Nolan fan generally though, I like his style, but I find all of his films other than Memento and TDK to be lacking some kind of substance. I haven't seen Interstellar, though.

I think Nolan might be the most overrated director of all time, save for Spielberg and Aranofsky. Saying you love Nolan is admitting you know nothing about the art of cinema.

Wait, you're telling me now? So I've been introducing myself redundantly whenever I said "Hi, my name's Bardock, I love Christopher Nolan and I know nothing about the art of cinema"

My dad thought I was a huge Nolan fan. I said "Dad, I'm a film student, not a teenager"

Did he laugh at you? I feel like he should have laughed at you.

I laughed

In all fairness, I probably didn't say exactly that. But the point remains the same.

I quite like Nolan, I think he's not done a bad movie, and he's done a couple really great ones. Memento, Batman Begins, Interstellar...

Supposedly, his first effort is supposed to be his best. I've never seen anything by him I liked though, so I'm not going to give it a try. American cinema has been as good as dead for at least 15 years anyway.
