Social anxiety is such a b*tch

Seriously, how do some people function so normally and are so social??

I feel like I've made many improvements as I've grown older, but I still get super anxious being social on a regular basis

I guess some people are just built for it. I even get social anxiety regarding KMC awehuhs

I've definitely improved, in a lot of situations I can come across as normal and adjusted, which is good. It's just tiring. I guess that's the whole introverted thing, you can seem really sociable at times, but it drains you pretty quick.

I feel like I'm the only person on this forum without social anxiety anymore. Used to be only Sancty would talk about social anxiety, now all of you have it. awehuhs

You're lucky uhuh

Well, social contacts are tiring to me too, but that's mostly because I'm a cynical ****. There's very few people that I can stand to be around for an extended period of time. Really, I think everybody has that. awehuhs

But yeah, I definitely don't experience anxiety like some people on here describe it.

It's a fine line mmm

Peep Show is still the best comedy series of all time. It still has me laughing even though I've seen every episode multiple times. It's so ridiculously underrated.

I just added the last line for clarification. awehuhs

But yeah, my posting skills have definitely gotten rusty. I have to edit basically every post I make since I've been back.

And I don't even care about posting 4 times in a row.

Or 5.

Yeah, have been waiting for years. Was supposed to have been done a couple of years ago IIRC.

It has been a while since series 8. I still hadn't seen it up until about a year and a half ago, then I finally got most of it on DVD and watched the rest online.

Series 8 wasn't the best but it still had some gems. Especially the first episode where Jez is going to therapy but he doesn't take the shrink serious because he's eating a Twix. Or when Mark forces him to eat the curry he got because he saw Jez at the curry house when he was supposed to be in therapy. That scene was comedy gold.

This scene:

Yeah, it had some pretty great moments. I think they painted Jez as too unsympathetic most of the time though, which I found initially annoying and later somewhat contrived just to create the whole Jez vs Mark — Dobby scenario. But the overall writing was consistent enough to make it enjoyable for the most part.

That is a pretty great moment haermm

But it also made me want curry mmm

Yeah I didn't like the Dobbie thing either. They should've let the main story revolve around Mark's coping with fatherhood instead of completely ignoring the baby and create some weird forced love triangle.

Feel the same way. Could go for a lamb pasanda especially.

The Indian takeaways are shit round here

Yeah! Mark as a father is a great concept, especially in how they handled it up until that point. Not enough Sophie and Jeff in series 8.
