I've been pretty good yeah, started uni last year (finally). I'm living in Leeds now. How've you been? Saw you post something about a comedy course, is that with uni or something separate?

You should post a vid of your band, I'm pretty sure KMC is screaming out for the Axel live DVD. If it's not, I dunno what the hell is wrong with people

I'm done with school for now, got a bachelor's and an associate's degree now superm I'm taking the course through a studio. The person hosting the class is someone I already know, so I won't be completely new or unknown, which is kind of relieving. He has already seen me do open mics before, so maybe he can give me some criticism to begin with!

I've been alright, working my ass off at a job I used to love but now it causes me so much stress. I don't want to leave it but I don't know how much longer I can stick it out. I sometimes want to quit and just become a waitress or something, but due to my recent knee surgery and potential need for another surgery, I don't think a job like that would be good for me atm.

I'm doing alright, but eh just stressed with some things.

Glad to hear you are in Uni, may I ask what you are studying? What is Leeds like? Very different from London?

i'm thinking about it guys alright jfc

theres gonna be a lot of people there so we'll see

def record the halloween show when we're dressed and performing as the who

Last Halloween, there was an event with the local comedians where they dressed up and impersonated their favorite comedian (or comedian of choosing). They got to perform 5 minutes or so of the comedians jokes, pretty cool. I watched last year but I'd like to do it this year awesome

I wonder who I'd do though. Sometimes I'd like to do Sarah Silverman or maybe Maria Bamford.

But I think I could pull off doing Bill Hicks if I put my hair in a tight bun, wore all black, wore round glasses, and had a cig in my hand

i only tell the truth when it makes me sound like im lying

Fancy stuff! That course sounds pretty awesome, how long does it run for? Is it like a general comedy course or more centred on stand-up?

Where do you work? I had a job I hated whilst I lived in Kendal, but it was unabashedly crap. I was a cleaner at ASDA (basically just a small Wall-Mart) mhmm Part of the reason I went to uni was basically just to escape from it awehuhs

Sorry to hear about the stuff with your knee though, it sounds like an all-round shitty thing to have to go through...

I'm doing Film Studies at uni, it's pretty good. I think I chose the right course and university — it's primarily essay-based rather than a practical course, but the range of topics we cover are pretty broad. I wasn't expecting to be taught semiotics on a film course, for a start awehuhs It's challenging, but fun, so I'm glad I decided on it, and there are plenty of opportunities to develop our own short films.

Leeds is a great city, kind of like a balance between London and the Lake District. Kind of small, but it still gets good gigs. Kendal was way too remote for me, barely anything happens there awehuhs Reckon I'm gonna stay in Leeds after uni, if I can.

Totally forgot about this smiley superm

I muszt sleep!! ha-sonwavehand

I think the course might run for a couple of months... I'll have to double check. Cost me 150 out of my pocket! Excited to learn, though. I miss school a lot. This course specifically focuses on stand up. They also do improv classes, but I'd rather stick to stand up at the moment. I've been doing it for about a year now. Had one gig once! I got to do 10 minutes of material and I made five dollars!! Hahaha.

I work at a local business in town. It has four floors and I'm the manager of the lower level, which is like the organizational department, as well as laundry and desk-y stuff. I also am a buyer, meaning I get to buy all the things I sell on the floor! It's a lot of fun, but can be stressful. It's a family run business, so we don't get regular raises. Also, there's no HR department or corporate, so if you need to complain about higher management not doing their jobs, you really have no one to complain to, except for their family members. Who will likely defend them. I've always been against corporate and that jazz, but working for family businesses also ****ing sucks.

Film studies is awesome. Do you have any of your works on youtube or anything? What's your favorite thing about school and studying and stuff?

Big cities can be so stressful. I kind of like that I'm in a small city. Well, it's not really that much of a city. More like a huge town, haha.
