Damn right the originals! Yeah, John Carpenter's version of The Thing is probably his best film. It's certainly my favourite of his, with They Live a bit behind it. Haven't seen the prequel Thing film nor the Robocop remake, don't plan to, either.

I'm a fan of fancy beers and ales, so stuff like Newcastle Brown, Old Speckled Hen, Hobgoblin (a personal favourite). I'll drink pretty much any beer though, even Pabst, if I have to. Also quite a fan of Guinness.

Agree 100%. I can watch the original over and over and over again.

Had the misfortune of watching the reboot. Terrible film in most regards. As is usually the case.
