Well, it's a cliché, Canadians being polite and nice, but, it's relatively true. Around here, everyone tends to know everyone...or someone that person knows. I'll drive home through the country to get to my town and farmers are waving at me from the fields, their tractors etc. I haven't a clue who they are, but it's kinda nice.
