To be honest, I'm more of a strong ale/bitter/beer and/or wine man. But my landlord gave us a bunch of free rum and vodka recently, so I drink what I have.
Both of which are my drinks. White rum, Jamaican rum, and vodka.

It doesn't get too cold here, other than at peak Winter time. Well, Scotland and the very North of England (Cumbria, Lancashire and Northumbria) get pretty damn ****ing cold, but other than that it isn't too bad. We don't get much snow.
It gets cold overall here - mind you, I'm a mere half hour from the southern most part of Canada and I live in what is called the Banana Belt, which typically is warmer. Where I was BORN however, 8 hours north of here, would and still does get snow in increments of 5-6 feet at a time.
Originally posted by MooseyDon't think I've had Jamaican rum, mostly used to spiced. Particularly Cap'n Morgans and Sailor Jerry's. All good stuff.

Yeah, we rarely get snow like that. Maybe once a year, in the colder parts of the country. Quite lucky in that respect. I bloody hate snow, other than the first day it appears. After the whole "Ooh, pretty" appeal is gone, it's just annoying.

Really? That makes you and Chelle now. What's with this North American desire to move to ye olde motherland?
It's totally going to happen.. one day.

Captain Morgan is good though I prefer Bacardi. Actually bought my friend some Mount Gay rum, because, well, I'm immature and I thought it was funny. Turned out to be really good.
We get good amounts here. I like it until Christmas, but then it can bugger off.

Soon as my babies have flown the coop, I may take you up on that. I need a job though...I can't work for the Canadian Govt in the UK. 😑
Originally posted by MooseyThe rum I lapped up tonight was Bacardi, pretty good stuff. Haha yeah, I've seen that stuff before, gave me a chuckle even though it really shouldn't have. Kraken is good shit, too. A bit more expensive than others over here, but worth it.

Originally posted by MooseyNot sure, to be honest. I've lived in London, Cumbria, and Yorkshire so far, and it's all pretty much England to me. Cornwall has the best weather, but it's fairly isolated. I'm enjoying Leeds area tbh, not too metropolitan but not rural either.
I want to live at Hogwarts. My grandfather is from Scotland, grandmother from England - Surrey I believe. Don't know where I'd WANT to live tbh. Suggestions?

Oh that's awesome...I would so be saying "Release the Kraken" every time I took the bottle out.

I actually like the idea of being in the English countryside. I don't know why...it appeals to me.
If you get a chance, get this and mix it with coke.
