Firstborn I can do, but you're gonna have to find the soul yourself, no idea where it's bloody gone

I was using Firefox, I used it for years, before that Chrome, I found that for this website I noticed it the most, the loading as I scrolled down, was quite irritating.

I use Microsoft Edge right now, it's Windows 10 only, I think they're still adding to it, but it's a hell of a lot faster than Firefox.

I was a die-hard Firefox user until I started using Chrome, probs gonna stick with it for a while longer until something comes out that really changes my mind. I'm a mac user primarily, and I'm not a massive fan of Safari

Did a bit of research (Google, basically), Chrome is the fastest browser, but when compared to something like Edge the difference is marginal, some may not notice it.

I like the plugins on Chrome. Does Edge have similar functions?

Currently, no. Unfortunate cos I'm so used to having many, I think they may add some when they finish it.

I abandoned chrome about a year ago due to growing concerns over Google's stance on privacy, i.e. that I shouldn't have any.

Yeah, they need to get on that.

That is something that bugs me. I don't entirely trust Google, but I like the browser too much. What do you use now?

Safari on Mac and iOS (which is my main use), Firefox on Windows.

Safari has decent enough plug-ins for my.needs, and it's very fast, with decent features out of the box.

Maybe I should consider switching to Safari. How bad are Google in terms of privacy these days? Is it anything to worry about particularly?

I've disliked Safari for ages, but only because I didn't like its incarnation from like, 7 years ago or something, so it's probably way better these days.

But I do like Adblock and Hola quite a lot (couldn't live without Adblock)

There is ad block on safari, many different ones actually. I personally use Ghostery.

There's nothing specific with Google but their willingness to track and wave everything you do in their silos, which I'd rather opt out of.

Both are webkit anyway, yeah?

Also, scribs, unfortunately Hola tracks your usage.

Whassat mean?
