Or well yeah, act like they have a rivalry with everyone. As far as I know, Germans barely ever talk about the '66 world cup because it's not that big a deal, but we constantly brag about how fifty years ago we once kicked a circle at a rectangle effectively.

I remember seeing a tv special on German television about that World Cup final being a sham when I was a kid, they definitely care. They just don't give a **** about England beyond that.

I'll head over to it soon, I was trying to think if I've actually ever seen any real stand-up... there isn't much of a scene for it here to be honest, I'm envious of the amount of great performers you get over there. I'd love to see Maria Bamford live particularly, her shows always seem to be gloriously awkward haermm
