I wouldn't say it was to do with being born at any certain time. I barely use social media, I use Facebook purely to communicate via direct messages, and then if KMC counts then there's that. Then, I know plenty of older people caught up in it to an excessive degree.
I just want to live in a world before social media and outrage culture and that became a thing.
Yeah, I get where you're coming from. Half of the serious articles these days include "...and someone on Twitter said..." – it's kind of surreal at times that people care what some Joe Public thinks, but then again, maybe it's good, in the long run. Gives a voice to the people. Just at the moment, we're stuck in the hype stage of it, but eventually it'll pass and we can use it for good. People in the future can use us as examples of how not to run a culture where everyone has a voice.
