Debating "charting a course" through at least 10% of this lady's collection.
Nearly every entry is as good as, if not better than, the last.
Madeleine Leander is simply amazing.

Ware Defense Game. I played Black and won on time; my opponent couldn't crack the problem I presented after I took out his bishops.
Chess.
Simplest idealized openings 101.
Englund Soller Gambit, Part 1.
As stated before, ESG is an extreme response opening by Black that gives up TWO pawns to reverse the inherent first "turn" advantage White always enjoys in any chess game. Black challenges White's d4 opening with a pawn but allows it to get taken, then challenges that same queen pawn again and allows THAT to get taken before drawing the line with his Dark Knight.
Game played against a higher ranked (2424).
His opening guaranteed an interesting game, especially once I matched it with the Ware Defense. I think he got distracted; he wound up losing his queen. Happily, he continued battling for a little while longer and showed tactical play despite that disadvantage which suggested exactly why he's so highly ranked.
