Atheism, in the broadest sense, is an absence of belief in the existence of deities. Less broadly, atheism is a rejection of the belief that any deities exist. In an even narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.

I said there are things out there that we may call "Gods" but are just entities we'll never understand because of limited human intellect.

I have a lot of problems with the Bible, Torah, Quran etc.

Not all of it makes sense, a lot of it is metaphorical and murky.

Leaves a lot to be translated and re-translated opening up inconsistencies.

The lack of direct language and a clear message drives me mad.

If you make a car and then make a manual for the driver you make it make sense.

What we have now is a bunch of cars with a driver's manual written by a drunk maniac in a ancient language, possibly high on shrooms.

It's not helpful for informed decision making.
