Not really, dreams don't come from our imagination. You're basically saying 'We imagine what we are feeling,' not true.

Has anyone ever had a dream/nightmare that you actually wake up and question? As in, you don't wake up and KNOW it's a dream like you usually do. You wake up and instantly check if it is.Due to the nature of the dream/nightmare or any other reason.

Sometimes I "wake up" in my dreams, and I think, "oh good it was just a dream," but then something even more horrible happens, but I think it's real. Funny how it seems more real in the "waking" part of the dream than the "asleep" part of the dream. Though I can't say I've ever woken up and not been sure if I was actually awake. I can't always tell if I'm dreaming, but I can always tell if I'm awake. If that makes any sense.
It's called "Lucid dreaming", when you 'wake up' inside your dream and basically have loads of fun because you realize you control absolutely everything. 😄

Dreams don't "mean" anything. They might occasionally tell you a little about the way you think, but they're just random electrical signals interpreted by your partially asleep brain.

"we imagine what we are feeling," I didn't say that, but I say that what I felt, are turned into imagination... It is true though if one is to say that we imagine what we are feeling, because if one is in a dream, one is basicly imagining what one is feeling at that moment...
An example would be---> He bullied me, and made me feel that he is a villain.
As you said that, you are registering him as a villain into your sub-conscious brain.. in hierarchy form.. so if you ever came across his name, or the word villain, or evil etc, you would remember eventually.
we imagine what we are feeling, because if one is in a dream, one is basicly imagining what one is feeling at that moment...
But Blackc@t was saying that in dreams we are experiencing a sort of reaction to our feelings and emotions.... like I said, if things are difficult when awake, I don't sleep well... if things are comfortable in real life, my dreams are sweet. She's not saying dreams are real, just that they are a result of how we feel when awake.
