Gas Prices

About a month ago there was this big gas scare. A rumor was going around saying gas stations would close down there pumps that day so people lined up to fill up but of course it was all a lie, but anyway gas was like $4.01 for regular and now its like $2.44 for regular so how do you guys feel about gas prices.

Take a look at these photos....

Also, in case you're wondering where this hotel is, it isn't a hotel at all. It is a house!_

It's owned by the family of _Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the former president of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Abu-Dhabi._

Amazing what $2.75 a gallon gas can buy, isn't it?

But why was it $4 last month and $2 this month?

Its a game for those making the money. Raise Gas, lower other prices. Lower gas, Raise prices in the stores or anything they can make money from. gas will rise again its all a matter of time.

Americans need to stop moaning about 'gas'. We pay about £1 for a litre, which is about £3.75 a gallon.

Which is about $6.50 a gallon.

I say they should just stop eating the cheese, maybe that'll help...

It's simple really, last month a hurricane threatened Texas, this month not.

Stop moaning about gas prices.

At least they're going down at the moment. $2.40 a gallon right now, I believe.

It was pretty ridiculous when it was $3.00+.

There are to many fat people in this world. Start rideing bikes people.

For short distances, and when time isn't of the essence, perhaps that's a reasonable solution.

However, I think most people who are really complaining about the gas prices are those who have to make long commutes every day and have no other option then driving.

I see no problem with people wanting reasonable and fair prices for gas.

You're damn right.

Actually, if we had the ****ing sense to begin to expolre options other than gas in teh 70's when there was a gas scare, then we wouldn't have a lotof the needless problems we have today.

Oh, woe is me! Gas prices are so high that I'll have to make the 2-minute journey to the nearest 7-11 on foot! Either that or I'll have to forgo my hourly can of Coke for a glass of tap water. Woe is me!

ROFL!

At least my daily commute, in the past month, has gone down from costing me $13 per day to $10. I'll take that.

What's more, bottled water can cost up to 10,000 times the amount of tap water by volume. That is, maintaining municipal water systems typically cost 0.1-0.2 US cents per gallon, where a 1/2 liter bottle of water at 99 US cents ends up costing around US$8 a gallon.

LOL only in the USA do we whine about gas and then buy bottled water🙂
Now I love the USA however instead of home of the free perhaps it should be home of the fat and whinie!

Victor put it stright look how much gas is in europe! If we really wanna cry Capt had another good point on alternative fuels.

More Importantly my milk costs 2$ a gallon and I certainly don't need that to maintain my lifestyle.....however where I am at gas is 1.99$ a gallon and I gladly pay that. I almost wish this last gas crunch would have been a wake up call for all those damn SUV's and gas guzzling monsters us Americans drive around.

just because some of you have no reason to leave your house other than to shop for junkfood, doest mean you should assume everyone else is the same. some of us have JOBS and have to (get ready for this, take notes) C-O-M-M-U-T-E many miles to get to those jobs. understand?

so all you shmucks can quit blowing hot air with your 'look at me im so funny and witty' oversimplified comments which only manage to sink the i.q. of every thread down to the double digits. shmucks
